Steelers wide receiver Sammie Coates caught passes in practice Friday and told reporters he wasn’t limited by his hand injury.

The Steelers are listing Coates as questionable for Sunday’s game at Miami. Coates still has stitches in his hand from an injury suffered last week vs. the Jets.

Five listed Steelers starters -- linebacker Ryan Shazier, defensive end Cameron Heyward, wide receiver Markus Wheaton, safety Shamarko Thomas and right tackle Marcus Gilbert -- are out. Heyward is expected to miss at least one more game as well due to a hamstring injury he suffered last week.

With Wheaton out and Coates questionable, the Steelers could promote wide receiver Cobi Hamilton from the practice squad. The team has until 4 p.m. Saturday to make such a move, but may not have to call up a receiver with Eli Rogers set to return after missing the last two games with a toe injury.
