Browns safety Jordan Poyer was taken to a local hospital after taking a big hit from Titans running back Antonio Andrews in the second quarter of Sunday’s game.

Poyer was covering a punt when Andrews delivered a blindside hit. Andrews was flagged 15 yards for an illegal blindside block.

The Browns announced that Poyer was being evaluated for a concussion and later announced he was also being treated for an abdominal injury. He was treated for several minutes on the field before taken to the locker room, then to the hospital.
