Jets rookie linebacker Darron Lee left Monday night’s game vs. the Cardinals with an ankle injury in the third quarter.

The Cardinals lead, 21-3, in the third quarter after David Johnson’s third touchdown run of the night.

Johnson is over 100 total yards for the sixth straight game. With a little more than five minutes left in the third quarter, he’s carried 18 times for 96 yards and now has eight rushing touchdowns on the season.

The Jets announced that Lee’s return is questionable. They previously announced that right tackle Brent Qvale is doubtful to return after suffering a stinger in the first half, and later in the third quarter Jets wide receiver Charone Peake was taken to the locker room after taking a big hit.

Lee started Monday night in place of the injured David Harris. The Jets picked Lee at No. 20 in the first round last April.
