Emmanuel Sanders practices despite hip injury

As the Broncos prepare to welcome quarterback Brock Osweiler back to Denver on Monday night, one of Osweiler’s favorite targets likely will be ready to catch passes from the Houston quarterback’s successor.

Mike Klis of 9news.com reports that receiver Emmanuel Sanders is practicing on Tuesday, despite a hip injury suffered five days ago against the Chargers.

With six days until the next game, Sanders has even more time to heal. No official practice report is due from the team until Thursday, so it won’t be known whether he’s limited in practice until then.

The Broncos and Texans have eye-dentical records of 4-2. The Broncos need to beat Osweiler for a variety of reasons, not the least of which comes from a desire to validate the decision to let him leave.

The Broncos didn’t let him leave he chose to leave. He would not have resigned with the Broncos even if they matched Houstons offer. He wanted out because he was butt hurt over getting benched. That’s common knowledge to anyone that was paying attention.

  2. The Texans are very familiar with Kubiak’s offense and will have no problem slowing it down if not shutting it down completely. If you don’t believe it go back and look how the Ravens did against the Texans when Kubiak was their offensive coordinator. They lost 13-25. I think the Texans go to Denver and win and Osweiler gets his revenge.
