Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy is seeking a second opinion on his injured left ankle.
A source told PFT’s Mike Florio that Lacy will be seeing Dr. Robert Anderson in Charlotte for the follow-up assessment. No final prognosis has been determined and “anything else is speculation.”
The NFL Network reported earlier Tuesday evening that Lacy was slated to miss several weeks due to the injury.
With James Starks already out due to injury, the Packers traded for Kansas City Chiefs running back Knile Davis on Tuesday. The Packers sent a conditional seventh-round pick in 2018 to the Chiefs in exchange for Davis.
With a Thursday night game against the Chicago Bears upcoming, the Packers don’t have much time to get their running back situation sorted out.
