Wide receiver Odell Beckham’s behavior has remained a topic of conversation this week, albeit in a more muted fashion than in previous weeks because Beckham’s latest round of sideline antics happened while he was scoring on two long touchdown passes in a Giants win rather than while the Giants were in the middle of a three-game losing streak.

Wherever quarterback Eli Manning is coming down on that issue on a given day, the condition of Beckham’s hip should probably be the issue of greater importance in the coming days. Beckham came down hard while trying to make a catch in last Sunday’s game and left briefly with what was called a hip pointer.

Beckham obviously wasn’t encumbered too much during the game, but the issue was enough to keep him off of the practice field on Wednesday. Coach Ben McAdoo said that Beckham was “pretty sore” while discussing the receiver’s condition, although there haven’t been any signs of great concern from the team that Beckham could miss Sunday’s game in London.

The same can’t be said of Nat Berhe, who tried to practice on Wednesday after missing time with a concussion. According to multiple reports, Berhe didn’t make it through the entire session and that doesn’t bode well for his chances of playing this week.
