Bradford throws first pick of the year

Sam Bradford’s head apparently has been Photoshopped onto Ryan Fitzpatrick’s body.

With the Vikings on the door step of the end zone following a Carson Wentz interception, the Vikings starter threw an ugly interception in the end zone, picked off by Eagles safety Rodney McLeod.

The Vikings got the ball back after a Wentz fumble, and then Bradford promptly fumbled.

The Bradford fumble apparently was returned for a touchdown by Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins, but replay review showed that Jenkins was down by contact after recovering the ball.

Either way, Bradford already is having his roughest day as a Viking. Especially since on the team’s first drive of the game he underthrew receiver Charles Johnson for what would have been an easy touchdown.

If Bradford doesn’t settle down quickly, it’s going to be a long day for the Vikings.

  1. The Vikings offensive line is horrible. And if Asiata would have run to the outside on the first interception he’d have scored.

  2. He is not playing well at all. The line isn’t holding up again. And McKinnon is hurt.

Going to be a rough day vikes fans.

  3. Sam Bradford is still Sam Bradford. Anyone who thought otherwise is delusional

For the guy crying about the no call on diggs, it was much less than Aguilar getting his face mask grabbed 30 yards down field. The Vikings are losing right now because their line is terrible, and because Sam Bradford is Sam Bradford

  4. How about the pi on Rhodes, and a roughing the passer, both on the same play? But you are crying because diggs tried to draw a flag on an awful pass and didnt get bailed out?

Obvious pass interference against Diggs, official gave in to the crowd and picked up flag.

Even as a Packers fan, yea, I saw that. They were able to make up for it on that play just before half, though. In theory, they also could have called a low hit on Wentz on that same play, but I believe that was a good non-call.

  6. Wow, holding on back to back plays by Philly and one was a no call and the other they call hands to the face on Minnesota. NFL figures if teams can’t beat Minnesota, they will make sure the league helps them.

  7. Yep. The Vikings will struggle to make the playoffs with their offense. It’s really bad. It just finally faced a team with a good defense. And several more good defenses on the way. No way this team will go far in the playoffs if they make it. Can’t have the worst offense in the league and survive. denver, New England, Pitt, Seattle would eat the Vikings alive.

That’s why Denver’s bad offense didn’t go far in the playoffs last year. Oh wait…
