Cardinals take a look at Dobson, Krause

The Cardinals worked out wide receivers Aaron Dobson and Jonathan Krause on Tuesday, PFT has learned.

The team is exploring options at the position after losing Jaron Brown for the season to a torn ACL Brown suffered in last week’s game vs. the Seahawks.

Dobson, a second-round pick in 2013, was cut by the Patriots in September and had two brief stints with the Lions this season. He visited the Colts last week.

Krause played in two games last year for the Eagles. He’s had brief stints with the Chargers and Buccaneers this season.

The Cardinals also worked out quarterback Mike Bercovici and linebacker Zaviar Gooden.

  1. Stone hands.

Every once in awhile he’ll make a great catch and then he’ll drop the next 8 easy ones.

Rarely seemed to give his best effort when he was with the Pats either. Surprised he wasn’t cut the previous year.

  2. Bring in some special teams specialists, they’ve caused 2 of the Cards 3 losses and were responsible for that horrible tie vs Seattle.

  3. Dobson had a good rookie season but injuries and major inconsistencies mired his progress the last 2 years in NE.
Even his rookie season he had the second highest rate of dropped passes amongst all receivers. This was a bit shocking as it was reported that he didn’t drop a ball in his last year of college.

  4. He was an enigma here in NE. But I finally pegged him last year. Dobson plays scared. That’s why he drops so many balls. Those injuries made him extremely gun shy. Don’t know if you’ll ever see that guy who lit up the highlight reels for Marshall University ever again. We thought he was the second coming of Randy Moss when the Patriots drafted him. Not even a close Fax copy.
