Jets get Knile Davis off waivers from Packers

Knile Davis is on his third team in two weeks.

Davis, who was traded from the Chiefs to the Packers two weeks ago and then waived by the Packers yesterday, was claimed on waivers by the Jets.

The Packers didn’t have to give the Chiefs anything in their trade for Davis because the trade was conditional on Davis lasting at least three games in Green Bay. Davis managed just five carries for five yards and two catches for four yards in his two games with the Packers.

With the Jets, Davis provides some depth in the backfield behind Matt Forte and Bilal Powell.

  1. Settle down Minnesota fans you guys are a game or two tops from having Sam Bradford hurt again

  2. The Jets can use any help they can get on special teams. Special teams has been a complete disaster since Westhoff left.

Yup and the Packers beat the Bears.
I would take a 3 point loss on the road over the pasting the Bears gave the reeling queens.
