The Arizona Cardinals placed tight end Ifeanyi Momah on injured reserve on Tuesday after suffering a broken wrist in Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Momah played in five games with one start for the Cardinals this season. He caught two passes for 20 yards.

With two open roster spots following the moves of Momah and Jared Veldheer to injured reserve, the Cardinals added two players to the active roster. Guard Taylor Boggs was signed as a free agent while safety Christian Bryant was promoted from the practice squad.

Boggs was with Arizona during the preseason before being released during final roster cuts. He’s appeared in seven games over three seasons with the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions.

Bryant was signed to Arizona’s practice squad in October. He appeared in nine games for the St. Louis Rams last season before being released following the preseason in Los Angeles.
