The Dolphins’ injury report for Wednesday didn’t include wide receiver Jarvis Landry, but he’ll be making an appearance on Thursday’s version.
Landry did not practice on Thursday because of a shoulder injury that he apparently picked up on Wednesday. Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that Landry said he didn’t feel right after the practice and the team considers him day-to-day as a result.
Friday’s practice will bring more of an idea if Landry’s shoulder will impact his availability for Sunday’s game.
If it doesn’t, Landry may be in line for an increase in targets against the Chargers. Coach Adam Gase said he didn’t do a good enough job of calling plays that would get the ball into Landry’s hands during last Sunday’s victory over the Jets, saying it is up to him to make sure “our best player on offense is getting the ball.”
Wide receiver Kenny Stills was also out of practice with a calf injury, but Salguero reports that he’s expected to be fine for Sunday.
