Former Dolphins and Rams running back Isaiah Pead is reportedly in critical condition after being involved in an auto accident Saturday morning in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

Per a tweet from NBC-4 news anchor Matt Barnes, Pead is in critical condition after a single-vehicle accident that shut down a stretch of Interstate 670.

Pead worked out for the Chiefs earlier this week. He played in three games for the Dolphins earlier this season but was released last month.

He’s played in 30 career games since being selected by the Rams in the second round in 2012.
