The revolving door that is the Vikings’ tackle position is spinning again.

Per a tweet from his agent, the Vikings have signed offensive tackle Rashod Hill off the Jaguars practice squad.

Hill, an undrafted rookie from Southern Miss, had an earlier stint on the Jaguars active roster when they were caught short at the position, which lasted a week.

The Vikings had to put starting tackles Matt Kalil and Andre Smith on injured reserve already, and veteran replacement Jake Long’s joining them after an Achilles injury.

  1. You win and lose games in the trenches. With all the injuries on the offensive line, the Vikings season is all but over.

  2. i played LT in High school back in 1999. i would sign for the minimum and I can probably open a better hole then the one’s we have seen all year.

  3. The announcer pointed out that the Vikings line was too high on a 4th and inches play. When they replayed it they were right. The d linemen got under thier chest and pushed up and back and these guys almost fell over backing up to get thier balance. I know we have an injury problem but could we have a problem with the o-line coaching? None of these guys looks like they can push the line. None of them. It must be someone’s job to get them ready.

  4. No worries, the guy will be on the IR in 2 weeks. I think that cheeser Gerbschmidt guy is sitting in his mom’s candlelit basement repeatedly poking pins in a Viking LT doll.

  5. yeah thats great, now if the vikings defense could wake up and make life hell for Palmer and Stafford over the next 8 days we could be back to 7-4. There’s a lot of football left. Just sayin’

  6. After reading the comments of some of the Vikings trolls, I take so much enjoyment out of your EPIC collapse, traded away draft picks, pathetic quarterback situation, even coaches giving up on you. You’ve literally turned into the Cleveland Browns before our very eyes! So sweet. There is justice in the universe.

As a Viking die-hard, there is no help coming.

May the football gods show us the mercy that 50 years of misery clearly deserves.

The Football Gods will never shine any love on that terrible franchise.
Barney fans are reaping what they sow for cheering for their favorite child abuser like a bunch of giddy school girls.

And yet the Chokers are still behind the Vikings in not only the division standings but the PF/PA stats. What does that say about Erin & company.

    ______________

That they are decimated by injuries on both sides of the ball but when your top 3 DB’s are out, it’s too much to expect 3rd and 4th string guys to cover top wideouts. The Packers will eventually heal but the vikings will still be void of offensive talent.
