If you’re a healthy member of the Bears offensive line, you’re definitely in the minority right now.

Projected center Hroniss Grasu was lost for the year before the start of the season, right guard Kyle Long went on injured reserve recently and right tackle Bobby Massie was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Giants with a concussion. Now left guard Josh Sitton is in the locker room after being carted off the field in the third quarter.

Sitton appeared to hurt his right foot or leg on a drive that saw the Bears go three-and-out for the second straight drive after a productive first half. That loss of offensive effectiveness has helped the Giants score 16 straight points in a game they now lead 22-16.

The big play of their second scoring drive of the half was a 48-yard completion to Victor Cruz that came after Bears corner Tracy Porter checked out for a couple of plays after being shaken up on a tackle. Eli Manning hit Sterling Shepard for his second touchdown pass of the day, but Robbie Gould’s second missed extra point keeps things closer than the Giants would like at the end of the third quarter.

UPDATE 3:22 p.m. ET: Sitton has been ruled out with an ankle injury.
