The NFL’s Career Development Advisory panel has crafted its preliminary list of coaching and G.M. candidates for the coming hiring cycle. The coaching list includes a college coach who has shown no inclination (yet) to leave his current job. The G.M. list includes a current NFL General Manager.

Dolphins G.M. Chris Grier is one of the candidates. He’s included because he currently doesn’t control the 53-man roster in Miami; executive V.P. of football operations Mike Tannenbaum does.

Also on the list are Chiefs director of football operations Chris Ballard, Cowboys assistant director of player personnel Will McClay, Raiders director of player personnel Joey Clinkscales, Ravens assistant G.M. Eric DeCosta, Giants director of football operations Martin Mayhew, and Vikings assistant G.M. George Paton.

The final list will be provided to teams on December 10.
