Linebacker DeAndre Levy may not play on Thanksgiving, but he’s getting closer to returning to the Lions lineup.

Levy is listed as questionable to play against the Vikings on Thursday with the knee injury that’s kept him out of the lineup since the first game of the regular season. Levy was listed as doubtful last week after his first week back on the practice field and he got in three limited practices this week.

“I think that there’s time and a rhythm to everything, and I think, whenever he’s ready, he’ll be ready,” Lions coach Jim Caldwell said, via the Detroit Free Press. “And the thing that we don’t do in any case, regardless of who it is, I think when you start putting your focus on one individual coming back or not coming back, then you say to the rest of your team that we don’t think you can do it without this guy or without that guy. And in our business, we have to win regardless of what the situation is.”

Defensive end Ziggy Ansah, running back Theo Riddick, safety Don Carey, offensive lineman Graham Glasgow and defensive tackle Khyri Thornton are also listed as questionable after a week of limited practices.
