Greg Robinson a healthy scratch

Rams left tackle Greg Robinson is a healthy inactive for Sunday’s game at New Orleans.

The Rams did not announce a new starter at left tackle. Rookie Pace Murphy is the No. 2 left tackle on the unofficial depth chart, and left guard Rodger Saffold has past experience at left tackle.

The No. 2 overall pick in the 2014 draft, Robinson started all 16 games last year and had started all 10 games this season. He’s never previously missed a game.

The Rams rank last in scoring and 31st in total offense.

  1. Like the Rams have anyone better to put out there? They have a weak o-line and Robinson is a penalty machine, but man, can’t see this really making the line better. Not today anyhow.

  2. He’s a massive bust took them long enough to bench him no point having a LT who can’t pass block.

  3. Another massive failure by the Rams management.
Rams fans have endured nothing but disappointment since the Vermeil/Martz GSOT days in STL. The draft picks they accumulated have been largely failures. The few successful picks have either left via free agency or will soon leave. The future looks bleak. Even firing Snead and Fisher is no assurance that their replacements will be any better. Meanwhile Stan K makes his money and owns another failing sports team. After LA, I suspect he will move the Rams to London and leave the Chargers to play in his new stadium. And people blame the fans of STL.

  4. Didn’t the Rams take offensive tackle Jason Smith as the 2nd overall pick in the 2009 draft? Wow. Incredible incompetence.
    Snead & Fisher are geniuses.

    Could’ve had OBJ

What good would he do if the team does not have a QB able to throw the ball worth a chit.

  6. Greed is what the NFL has become thanks to the attorneys who run the league with the blessings of most owners. Mexico and England and eventually Canada and that far away state Alaska are about to pay up to get in.

Looking at the 1 p m Sunday games there are 16 teams playing with 4 of the 16 with a winning record. Count Monday’s two teams 4 out of 18.

Ref’s who cannot ref and don’t know the rules, Jerry Jones doing his Donald Trump impersonation after each Dallas score (why is it necessary to camera Jones?) and less and less competiveness among the entire league. Who really wants to watch Cleveland or Chicago let alone Jacksonville.

Do you really need to wonder why TV ratings are down. It’s just the beginning of the long spiral down.
