He may not have final clearance through the concussion protocol yet, but Andrew Luck is at least back on the field.
Per Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star, the Colts quarterback was back on the field with his teammates this morning as the team resumed work for this week’s game with the Jets.
Luck was wearing a red non-contact jersey but he wears that anyway. Players have to go through workouts and emerge symptom-free as part of being cleared by an independent neurologist. He missed Thursday’s game against the Steelers.
He also has the benefit of an extra day since they play the Jets Monday, and that will give a banged up Colts roster some needed rest. They’re 5-6 at the moment which is uninspiring, but they’re still in the AFC South, which means they’re only a game out of first place, and a berth in the playoffs.in
