Joe Berger remains out of Vikings practice

The Vikings have gained plenty of experience shuffling around offensive linemen this season because of injuries and it looks like they’ll get a little more this Thursday against the Cowboys.

Center Joe Berger suffered a concussion against the Lions on Thanksgiving and missed another day of practice on Tuesday. That doesn’t leave him much time to make it through the concussion protocol before Dallas comes to town. Nick Easton filled in for Berger last week and coach Mike Zimmer said he expects Easton to do a good job.

“He played very well last week so we expect the same this week,” Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said at his Tuesday press conference.

Cornerback/punt returner Marcus Sherels also remained out of practice with a rib injury. Safety Harrison Smith and cornerback Captain Munnerlyn were limited participants after sitting out on Monday and quarterback Sam Bradford was a limited participant for the second straight day because of an ankle issue.
