Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith has been dealing with an ankle injury the last few weeks. It appears as though the injury may have been exacerbated during Thursday night’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Via Tom Pelissero of USA Today, Smith had a walking boot on his left foot and was on crutches in the locker room after the game.
Smith has been listed on the injury report for the Vikings each of the last two weeks. Smith finished the game against Dallas with five tackles – including one tackle for loss – and a quarterback hit on Dak Prescott.
Smith has played in every game for Minnesota so far this season.
