Two Bengals get hefty fines

Two Bengals players were hit with heavy fines resulting from penalties they committed in last week’s win over the Browns.

Defensive end Carlos Dunlap was fined $18,231, PFT has learned, for a horse collar tackle of Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III during the Browns’ only touchdown drive of the game. Tight end Tyler Eifert was fined the same amount for his unnecessary roughness penalty on the next drive.

Eifert knocked then-Browns linebacker Corey Lemonier off of his feet with a crackback block on a run play. Eifert caught a pair of touchdown passes in the first half of that game.
