  1. Spanos, don’t let Rivers commute. It’s tiring and traffic tie-ups are common. I lived in OC for 30 years. It took my daughter over 2 hours from SD to OC last week. He should keep his home in SD, rent in Newport or CDM. There are private schools and the public schools aren’t bad. I guarantee, if he commutes, it will effect his performance on the field. Traffic anxiety is draining. This re-location fiasco to L-a-L-a land IS going to effect the entire team. It’s always a traffic mess up there and it doesn’t get any better. I wonder if you and Fabiani figured this out before you made this disastrous decision? What a mess. If Rivers commutes, he might as well retire.
