  1. So Vikings fans were giving Packers fans crap because McCarthy excused 16 veterans from their three day mini-camp. Now the Vikings are excusing all of their veterans for the first three days of training camp. Too funny.

  2. Vikings have that LGBTQ symposium to worry about also during camp.

Only NFL team with enough gays to require such a thing.

Not that theres anything wrong with that.

  3. Why do NFL teams split the start date with the rookies and veterans? It makes zero sense. I don’t want to hear about “enough reps” either. You want the whole team there to get the best 53 on game day…..oops, I mean 46 because god forbid we let guys play when you are paying them to be on the roster…..

Were you in a coma last year? The Packers need all the practice they can get. The Vikings are going to be just fine.

Yea, we all get it. The Vikings are going to win the Super Bowl this year. But do you mind if we actually play the games first? It’ll give us fans of the other 31 teams a little bit of hope.

  6. Ravens are starting camp 2 weeks before most teams (for rookies). I wonder what that’s about?

  7. So it appears Packer fans think “Vikings are going to be just fine.” = “The Vikings are going to win the Super Bowl this year.”. It also appears they think there are only many gays on the Vikings. 😐

  8. This won’t change the fact that the Vikings still have ZERO Championships.

    ZERO.

  9. I know the Ravens are getting a bit of a head start to camp because they’re in the HOF game, but they start almost a full week before Chicago does, the other HOF game team, that seems a little odd to me.

They pick fights with anything. That’s just the way they are. Fans everywhere already know this. It’s in their blood from listening to grandparents and parents whine about the Vikings since 1961. Since birth, they’ve been picking needless fights. I know……I grew up here.

  11. How did a story about EVER team’s training camp start date, turn into a “Let’s slam Minnesota fest”?
There are 31 other teams in the NFL.
No one has won anything yet….can we just talk about teams reporting to camp?

Really free? What are you going to comment on next, how man African Americans are on the Vikings vs the packers. Don’t look now but your prejudice is showing.

  13. could someone give me an explanation of why the Ravens get an extra week of practice? Looks to me they are getting an unfair advantage on the rest of the league.

Pretty sure I didn’t mention anything about a Super Bowl, nor has any other Viking fan. And yet I keep seeing predictions from you and your ilk about how the Packers are going to win the NFC North and the Vikings won’t make the playoffs. We are going to play the games, and I for one can’t wait.

Are you surprised? This is the same fan base who brags on here about Green Bay having “a small non caucasian population”

  16. BUT…. Will Tom Brady & Gronk & all the other players that aren’t having fun even show up???!!
At least that what BSPN wants everyone to believe…..

  17. Good catch on the Ravens starting earlier, guys. One has to wonder if the preseason injury bug is going to be just as brutal as it has for them in the past. It seems like they always have a ton of bad preseason leg/knee/foot injuries.

  18. I for one am more excited for this season than I have in a long time. The NFC is absolutely loaded and should be great games every week. Who says the NFL is slipping, best it’s ever been in my book.
