Frank Gore, LeSean McCoy share workouts and mutual respect

Dolphins running back Frank Gore and Bills running back LeSean McCoy are helping each other get ready for the 2018 season, a sign that their mutual respect is greater than their rivalry now that both are in the AFC East.

McCoy posted a picture on Instagram of the two of them working out together, and captioned it by showing he considers Gore a role model.

“When you talk about greatness you talking Frank Gore,” McCoy wrote. “Learning from the best.”

Gore replied by saying McCoy is the best running back in the league.

“The best running back in the NFL Shady McCoy 10 years in still doing it,” Gore commented.

Gore is the NFL’s active leader, with 14,026 career rushing yards. McCoy is second (at least as long as Adrian Peterson doesn’t have a team) with 10,092 career rushing yards.

  1. Anybody looking to play for a long time should look at Gore. I thought he would retire 4 years ago. Great to see him still going strong

  2. Trying to milk a paycheck even though its obvious your body is DONE.
Gore should not go out to eat though, with Mr. Cheapskate, NO tip, liar

  3. Let’s hope his longevity doesn’t result in a life after football like Earl Campbell. Broken down is not what anyone deserves.

Wow, way to take one of the few feel-good stories out there and turn it into something angry/negative. And a lifetime ban for kneelers? Seriously? Do you overreact to every single issue in your life? Or just football related ones?

  5. When players get together, it’s showing mutual respect. When owners do it, they call it collusion.

He’ll be the best running back in the league who’s at least 30. Not the best all around. Not even top 5.

You’d be hard pressed to find a better RB in the league than Shady McCoy regardless of age. He puts up #’s every year with far less talent around him and inferior O- linemen on top of that.

  7. The 1st thing any team that plays the Bills has to do is account for Shady. When he is on the field he usually is the best player on the field. Hes just that good.

  8. Never heard a bad thing about Gore and Shady has been outstanding on the field and invisible to trouble these last few years. No need to drag either down. Everyone needs to stop being so angry. Hate doesn’t solve anything.

Didn’t McCoy beat up an off duty cop just two summers ago?

  10. The Inconvenient Truth. Best nickname ever. Teach our youngsters what’s up Mr. Gore! Welcome to Miami.

  11. Sproles too. In terms of lasting long even with a small frame. More importantly, in terms of how to carry yourself off the field unlike LeSean.

frank gore is a rare breed…dude shredded his knees in college and look at the career he’s had… hardest working athlete in the nfl

Agreed on all parts except that wasn’t he the backup to Willis McGahee who shredded his knees? Not Gore shredding his?
