The Packers will take a look at one of their seventh-round picks over the final four weeks of the regular season.

The team announced on Tuesday that they have promoted linebacker Kendall Donnerson from the practice squad. He was the 248th pick in this year’s draft and the last of three players selected in the seventh round by Green Bay.

Donnerson had 34.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks at Southeast Missouri, but has spent the entire season on the practice squad. He had seven tackles and a forced fumble in the preseason.

Safety Ibraheim Campbell was placed on injured reserve to open a roster spot. He had 18 tackles and a forced fumble in three appearances with the Packers.

  1. It’s mind-boggling how some Viking trolls (can’t call them fans,) enjoy bashing the Packers more than supporting the Vikings! The usual suspect fight-pickers, right off the bat. Wait until the Vikings stop just short of the postseason. Their heads will explode.

  2. Chalk up another injury to the secondary. My word. He was playing well too. Oh well. I was very high on Donnerson in the pre-season so I’m excited to see him get a chance to play this year.

  3. Too bad…I spent a good part of Sunday trying to figure out who Campbell was. I’m sure his family loves him.

    Interesting.

We were told by the green and yellow fans we’d be mathematically eliminated in October and here we are in December and we are (at this time) in a Wild Card spot.

Meanwhile, those same fans were already getting ready to order their Super Bowl tickets in August.

Too bad they lost there SB in November on a Sunday night at US Bank Stadium…
