The Bills continue to revamp their offensive line, adding another tackle Saturday.

LaAdrian Waddle, 27, signed a one-year deal, the team announced.

The Patriots used Waddle as a spot starter during his three-plus seasons in New England. He appeared in 28 games with seven starts over the past two seasons.

He began his career as an undrafted rookie with the Lions, starting 24 games from 2013-15 with Detroit.

Waddle is expected to compete for the starting job with fellow free agent signee Ty Nsekhe, who previously played for Washington.

  1. He was awful, but we seriously have nobody to play tackle now. I’m guessing BB will double dip in the draft. Wynn is way too short and slow, he’s only a guard.

This spells the end of the pats dynasty…….

I’m guessing this is intended to be sarcasm. If losing Waddle spells the end of the Patriots dynasty then, … whatever.

  3. Waddle is terrible. Dude was the 75th ranked OT in the league last year earning a 50.9 overall grade. Why even waste money on this guy?

  4. Don’t make him your starter Bills just keep him as depth then you should be fine. I kind of want the Bills to get better because rather them than the Jets or Fins do something.

  5. He was a decent spot starter and swing tackle for the Pats. I think he’s a solid pick up for the Bills, who I think are doing a solid job so far this off season.

BTW- Wynn, will be the Pats starter at LT if he has full recovered from his injury, and Brady will be very happy with the results….despite some other supposed Pats fan’s misgivings.

  6. Teams that can’t beat the Pats are realizing that they can increase their chances of doing so by signing away players from the Pats to make them worse. Gostkowski should be the next to go.

  7. Bills needed to upgrade both the starters and backups on the line. I’m thrilled with how they have gone about it.

Great FA period for the team. With a good draft, they could be a contender this season.
