Quinnen Williams eager to sack Tom Brady, who was “in the NFL before I was born”

Jets rookie Quinnen Williams knows that Tom Brady is the No. 1 target for any defensive lineman in the AFC East is. Even if he doesn’t know all the details about Brady’s biography.

Williams said that getting to sack Brady would be a special experience, and then made a comment about their age difference.

“It’s crazy because Tom Brady started playing in the NFL before I was born,” Williams said. “To sack him would be amazing.”

That is not correct. Williams was born in 1997. Brady was drafted in 2000. Brady isn’t quite as old as Williams thinks he is. And Williams’ presence in the division gives Brady one more reason to keep working on his pliability and staying one step ahead of the pass rush.

  1. If you listen to Williams talk he isn’t the brightest bulb. Also, always has a look on his face like a kid who just ate the whole box of doughnuts that was supposed to be for everyone.

I don’t think he will be a special player. I saw bust before the draft and I still see a bust.

  2. This is why college education doesn’t mean much when it comes to employment in 2019

  3. Love that kids excitement and smile it’s contagious. That’s a player whose jersey I would be and a kid I would root for no matter the team

  4. The Jets best hope his football skills are better that his basic math skills. Fyi Tom Bradys release is the fastest in the NFL. Better get there quick.

  5. Not only was this press conference last week, but this is the quote you selectively pulled out of it? Quinnen is a great kid stop reaching for your “lol Jets” narrative that died in 2012.

  6. It’s amazing that the Jets have drafted half a dozen “can’t miss” D-linemen over the last decade and a half and none of them have have ever done squat vs NE.

  7. Looks wise, He sort of reminds me of a young Vince Wilfork (look at the photo?) who was also playful and smiled a lot. I don’t hate him just because another team drafted him. These guys don’t pick who they play for. It’s the other way around.

  8. I read the comments here from fans mentioning how smart he is. If so then why does he sound like a head hunter. Doesn’t sound smart to me.

We all know that sooner or later Brady’s career will end i foe one hope its not the result of a cheap premeditated shot.

I could see this kid getting a sack of Brady when the 2 teams meet…

Final score: Patriots 34, Jets 13

What was the score of the last game Gase and Belichick faced one another?

    ____________

That was one hell of a regular season Dolphins SB win against the Pats. Sadly you would rather have a December victory than a February. 01.13.74.

  11. I believe what the young man was trying to say is that if you add the number of AFC Championship Games Tom Brady has played in (13), to the number of Super Bowls he has played in (9),you get 22, which is one more than the number of years Quinnen has been talking about himself on this earth (21). So in a way, he is right.

22 Championship Games & Super Bowls > 21 Years Old

Let that sink in for a while….

Lolz yup your big regular season victory on one of the luckiest plays in years is all you have to hang your hat on. After that you got to watch the Fins once again not make the playoffs and your “miracle in Miami” do nothing to stop the Pats from winning another Super Bowl.
