The Patriots left Danny Shelton in the market for months, but then brought him back.

According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Patriots have re-signed the veteran defensive tackle.

He visited with the Bengals early in free agency but left without a deal, before returning for a second season with the Patriots.

He spent his first three years with the Browns, and can be a solid rotational player against the run.
