Dak Prescott working with his receivers in San Diego

Dak Prescott said during the team’s minicamp that he would work out with his receivers in California. Asked where, the Cowboys quarterback declined to answer.

“I don’t want everyone to be looking for us,” Prescott said. “California is a big state.”

Now we know.

Prescott posted a photo on social media with Jason Witten, Amari Cooper, Darius Jackson, Dalton Schultz, Allen Hurns, Randall Cobb and Blake Jarwin standing together on a football field in San Diego.

Now, everyone in San Diego will be on the lookout for the Cowboys.

Southern California seems to be the place to go. Tom Brady and Baker Mayfield have spent time working out in Los Angeles this summer. Marcus Mariota worked out with his receivers in Los Angeles, and Sam Darnold twice has had his receivers out to Southern California to work with him.

  1. They couldn’t have picked a better spot for privacy. No one in San Diego has ever cared about pro football.

  2. This is a great idea. You can never practice 5 yard checkdowns and slants too much. Daks going to complete more than 50% of his 5 yarders this year for sure!! Combine that with all the Pro Bowl calibre handoffs to whoever replaces to sure to be suspended Zeke and Daks in for a career sewson!!!

    10 years 35 million per!!!

    Sign this guy Jerry!!!

    Best regards,

    Washington, Philly and the Giants.

  3. NFC East is so lucky to have 3 of the best 5 yard checkdown passers in the NFL. Dak, Eli and McCoy are All World top notch passing machines.

  4. Seems like a complete waste of time – once the season begins, Dakota will revert to his run first mentality and will still be unable to beat a blitz through the air. What a fraud this guy truly is.

  5. Ron, ron, ron…the Cowboys are so in your head that you must comment (sometimes multiple times) on every Cowboy story. It makes us happy to know how much attention you and philthy pay to the Cowboys. We love how you think your Eagles are set at QB even though we’re all pretty confident he’ll be sitting on the sidelines by mid November. This season is going to be quite fun.

Oh, btw, I’m still waiting for you to say, “I got it wrong” when you predicted how the Seahawks would destroy the Cowboys in the first round of the playoffs last year.
