Which teams will have the best offenses in 2019?

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is feeling pretty good about his team’s offense in 2019. And for good reason.

But other offenses should be pretty good this year, too. Simms and I looked at six of them via Thursday’s PFT Live draft.

The results were a bit surprising. Which is a nice way of saying I mopped up the floor with Simms. And he admitted it.

To see all the picks, and to witness his admission, check out the attached video. And then point out any offenses that you think we missed in the comments.

  1. Williams is listed as the starting running back, he’s never had over 50 carries in a season.
Not having Hunt will probably knock that offense down a few pegs.
No wonder they don’t want to part ways with the guy who choked his pregnant girlfriend.

  2. The Vikings. In fact they are going to be like last years Chiefs & Rams. The new zone blocking scheme & play action pass running back dominated offense is going to blow peoples doors off & they will not be prepared. Kubiak won a SB with Manning when he couldn’t even throw. The Vikings are built the same way as that Bronco’s team.

Scoff all you want but don’t be shocked, you’ve been told.

I think Carlos hyde will surprise some people. He’s not great at anything but good at almost everything. That being said, I think my eagles will be in the conversation for best offense.

  4. The “Best Offense” now is that equated by stats or wins?

I mean, look at Mahomes stats 50 tds & 5k yds and MVP…BUT…I guarantee he will trade them all for a SB ring.

SB rings have a way of rewriting who is “The Best”, just ask Dan Marino.

  5. Mahomes might throw for 6,000 yards this year if they can’t muster up much of a running game. The Saints will be near the top as always. I look for the Falcons to have a bounce-back year. Cleveland has a s*** ton of weapons on the offensive side of the ball and I expect them to be near the top as well.

  7. Green Bay – hands down. At least top 5 O and top 10 D is a realistic expectation. Go PACK go.

Could I trouble to get a bag of whatever it is you are smoking? You and your ilk help destroy what little credibility the Viking fans have on this website. What’s next, a prediction of a Superbowl trophy for a QB that went 4-25 against teams with winning records?

  9. This is difficult since both the Jets and the Brownies have already printed Superbowl tickets.

And they still won’t be able to beat a team with a winning record….

  11. Saints have had one of the top 5 offenses for 15 straight years and yet we have opposing fans that spout non-sense like this. Truly sad.

Brees is on the decline and wont even reach 4K yards this year

  12. Chiefs will still be hot but face a much tougher schedule this year. Pats will still be top 5 too. Can Mayfield shut up and play? Can Raiders shut up AND avoid an equipment malfunction?

  13. I’m glad to see because I think it’s realistic for my pats to NOT be in this conversation for best offense. They have lost so much from seasons past to be considered a dominant offense. But BB, TB12 and the defense will be so damn good they will be in the conversation for best team for the 2019/20 season.

No, but the rest of the NFL will, just like we always do.

I wouldn’t laugh too hard, Minnesota’s Offense walked right through the Saints Starting Defense last Friday night, even without some of their Starting players!
This isn’t last years Vikings team, even going through to UDFA’s the whole game they were simply better than the Saints.
But according to you guys it should have been 72 -3 Saints! Cousins has a bad record against good teams because Washington has Stunk the past 5 years! One player cannot change that! Last year Minnesota was a train wreck, with the death of one of their top assistants
and a 1st year OC that went Rogue thinking he didn’t need to follow his coaches game plans even AFTER being warned! They have made an incredibly positive step in fixing their O line, had a great draft, brought in one of the best football minds as an assistant head/offensive Coach.
We all know the Packer fans here have already claimed the Super Bowl title so they vote down on ANYTHING Vikings….. All I can say is see you in September!

  17. There are a lot of good offensive teams and there is so many ways to determine whose best, Most Yards, Most TD, Best Passing Team, Best Rushing team. It also depends on who you play against. The Chiefs put up some good numbers on good defenses last year while the teams they played got a boost in their offense ranking because the chiefs defense was so horrible. Some teams play in stinker of divisions which will pad stats.

All that matters is winning and being entertained.

  18. Lol at the guy saying the vikes offense will be great because they looked great for the first drive of a preseason game against the only team that tries less than the rams in exhibition games.
