After two seasons in Minnesota, guard Danny Isidora is heading home to Miami.

The Vikings have traded Isidora to Miami for a seventh-round draft pick, the Dolphins announced.

A 2017 fifth-round draft pick, Isidora grew up in Florida and played his college football at Miami. He’ll now add depth to the Dolphins’ offensive line.

Isidora wasn’t expected to make the Vikings’ 53-man roster, but the Dolphins apparently didn’t think he’d make it through waivers to them, so they were willing to give up a pick to get him.

In two years with the Vikings, Isidora played in 21 games with three starts.

  1. Good luck and at least you are back in Miami. I was disappointed he wasn’t better though. I thought he could get stronger and start in a couple of years maybe. He couldn’t beat out Remmers at guard last year when Remmers was struggling. And that sealed his fate with the Vikings.

  3. they don’t call him 7th round pick Rick for nothing! now we can trade the 7th rounder with other picks to move up in the draft…BUT WAIT there’s MORE!…With the high round pick, we can trade out over and over AND OVER and move back and back AND BACK so eventually, we have MORE 7th round picks! See how I turned one 7th round pick into 12! because who doesn’t want unlimited 7th round picks instead of those pesky 3rd, 4th, and 5th round picks. The 5th round pick is Rick’s nemesis! good thing we don’t have one for a while!

Pack fans heads exploding, after all their comments exclaiming that we need every single scrap of an OL there is. Looks like we good.

My head is still here. Just because one guy is SUPER terrible doesn’t mean the rest of your garbage roster isn’t regular terrible. As one of your other sign ons said, he couldn’t even compete with one of your terrible line-men LAST YEAR, when you had one of the worst lines in history.

  5. “The fifth round pick is Rick’s nemesis”.

Wasn’t Stephan Diggs a fifth round pick?
