David Bakhtiari is questionable with back injury

Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari returned to practice Friday as a limited participant, and the team lists him as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Bakhtiari was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a back injury and did not practice Thursday.

The Packers likely move right guard Billy Turner to left tackle if Bakhtiari is unable to play, although Alex Light and starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga are other options.

The Packers ruled out linebacker Oren Burks (chest) and receiver Darrius Shepherd (hamstring). They list cornerback Ka’dar Hollman (neck) as questionable.

  1. Let the excuses for the loss begin with a little whine. “Our tackles are hurt” Green Baby is in full run and hide mode

  2. I sure hope Bak can play Sunday. We don’t want Aaron exposed. If not, his back up will have to hold more than usual.

  3. Billy Turner is a Minnesota guy but he isn’t a good player. He’s an overpaid journeyman who has started 26 games in his sixth year, all at guard. He’s a poor man’s Josh Kline. He’s a passable right guard, but if he has to play left tackle, get the women and children out of the stadium because it’s going to be ugly.

  4. What’s questionable is ability to play at an NFL level any longer. Washed up and failing down.

  5. Hey Packer fans, after Green Bay wins this weekend, please don’t forget the extraordinary amount of trash talk we’ve had to endure this week leading up to the game. Every Packer story is lousy with mouthy Viking fans acting as if they just won the Superbowl because they beat the almighty Falcons. Just keep that in mind and let these fools have it come 3:15 Sunday afternoon.

What’s questionable is your grasp on football, and your five posts in this thread that doesn’t involve your team. What’s not questionable is that DB is referred to as the best tackle in the league for a reason.

  7. Fear not. Bak will line up and will hold the entire Minnesota d-line like the AllPro he is, just so the Viking trolls have something to sing about at 3:30 Sunday.

    Go Pack! Go Bak!

  8. The Minnesota defense used to be feared. Now, while still formidable, they’re looking up at the rest of the division thinking, when did all three become more talented on defense?

  9. >> Wisconsin Narcissists says: Packer O-line won’t be able to cheat anymore and get away with the holding they usually do. <<

Just watched the first two TDs of the MIN-ATL game. Thielen pushed off on the first one to get open, then held the CB on the second one to free-up Cook.

Oh, that's right. The game was in Minneapolis so neither one got called ….

I am fully expecting john wick to show for green bay and crush the Vikings on Sunday. In fact I was guaranteed it would happen. btw did john wick not get the memo last week’s game was on thursday??

  11. Dublin Demons. Your comments would potentially be funny if they didn’t require massive editing.

  12. Not all MN fans complain about penalties, just naive ones. Players usually adjust to how the refs are calling the games. I will not go in depth on the matter because my comments always get deleted – so I will make this bland. Hoping for a good game, hopefully all the players have fun out there.

  13. We’ll see what happens. Vikings have no one comparable to Mack and GB tackles were 28-1 in one-on-one’s with him. Interior line was the only issue. Vikings interior had the same problem last week.
