Washington ruled out tight end Jordan Reed for Monday night, and he might not return for “weeks,” JP Finlay of reports.

Reed hasn’t played since being diagnosed with a concussion in the third preseason game Aug. 22.

He has never played a full 16-game season in his seven years in Washington, and Reed now has seven documented concussions dating to college, Finlay reports.

Washington also ruled out linebacker Cassanova McKinzy (hip) and quarterback Colt McCoy (fibula).

Defensive lineman Jonathan Allen (knee) and cornerback Quinton Dunbar (knee) are questionable.

Allen returned to a full practice Saturday after missing Thursday and being limited Friday. Dunbar did not practice this week.

  1. Someone close to him needs to get him to retire. Doesn’t he see what’s happening (gonna happen) here’s?

  2. I’m sure there’s good material for a full length feature film in the psycho-drama that is Jordan Reed’s tempestuous relationship with the Redskins’ tub, but man oh man does that guy ever need to hang up the cleats.

Jordan, we feel for you, dude, and we loved watching you play. But for your own sake, just go somewhere and heal, so that you’re able to walk in your 50s.

  3. We Skins fans love you, Jordan. Please step away from the game. You should live to be an old man.
