49ers add George Kittle to injury report, list him as questionable

Friday additions to the injury report often foretell an absence on Sunday so it’s not great news for the 49ers that they needed to add tight end George Kittle to their final report of the week.

Kittle was a limited participant in practice due to a groin injury. He was listed as questionable to play, although head coach Kyle Shanahan said, via multiple reports, that he expects Kittle to be in the lineup against the Rams.

Kittle had a season-high 70 receiving yards and caught his first touchdown pass of the season in Monday night’s win over the Browns.

Ross Dwelley and Levine Toilolo are behind Kittle on the depth chart at tight end.

  1. Hope the 9ers are at full strength agains the Rams. A three game losing streak would be appropriate for cheating to get in the last SB!

It wasn’t the Rams’ fault the refs failed to do their job, get over it. SF will be 4-1 on Monday and then they can act all tough again when they punch through the Redskins the week after.

  3. The LAmbs have a suspect O line. No match against the New Gold Rush of Bosa, Ford, Buckner and company. Without Todd Gurley, Frisco does not even have to respect the LAmbs running attack.

  4. Aren’t medical reasons related to employment protected by HIPPA laws? So why are they listing a groin injury? What if the player had a veneral disease? Think he wants that published?
