Vikings tight end to have season-ending surgery

Kirk Cousins and the Vikings' offense kept the critics silent again with another big outing in a 38-20 win over the Eagles at home.

Vikings tight end David Morgan won’t be coming off the physically unable to perform list this year.

The team announced that Morgan was having season-ending knee surgery.

Morgan had knee surgery early this offseason and wasn’t ready for camp, and apparently has had continued problems.

The former sixth-round pick from Texas-San Antonio started six games for them last year, and caught five passes.
