The Buccaneers signed outside linebacker Sam Acho. Acho posted the news on social media.

The Bucs placed tight end Antony Auclair on injured reserve with a toe injury in a corresponding move, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Carl Nassib (groin) and Anthony Nelson (hamstring) both left Sunday’s game and did not return.

Acho is familiar with the Tampa Bay defense, having played for Bruce Arians and Todd Bowles in Arizona in 2013-14. He had 11 sacks in those two seasons.

He has not played this season and made only one tackle in four games with the Bears last season.

Auclair played eight games with five starts this season, his third in Tampa. He made his only catch of the season Sunday, gaining 11 yards.

  1. Acho is washed up and flatout horrible. He wasn’t all that good even in his prime. If Todd Bowles play straight man to man like he did against SEA and Russell Wilson (which is a terrible game plan against Wilson) Kyler Murray will pick them apart. Murray is going to have a big game, and their run game between an extremely elusive dual-threat QB w/ 4.3 speed in Kyler Murray fully 110% healthy All-Pro RB David Johnson who doubles as a legit elite #2 caliber WR and a fully settled RB/WR Kenyan Drake ( also an excellent receiver) who’s in the perfect system for his skill set along w/ a healthy RB/WR Chase Edmonds gives Arizona an elite rushing attack that is one of the games best which Tampa won’t be able to contain & will set up a wicked play action & RPO attack allowing Kyler Murray to really hit his receivers and tight-ends for BIG Chunk gains in the passing game. I think Arizona’s offfense is going to put a beating on that Tampa defense.
