The folks at the Westgate Superbook have updated their Super Bowl odds. And they currently project a matchup of the New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl LIV.

The Saints are 7/5 favorites to win the NFC title, and the Patriots are 6/5 favorites to win the AFC Championship.

Elsewhere in the NFC, the 49ers have 7/2 odds, followed by the Packers at 6/1, the Vikings at 7/1, the Seahawks at 8/1, and the Cowboys at 10/1. The Rams, who opened as 4-1 co-favorites in late January, have had their odds climb to 25-1.

In the AFC, the Ravens have 7/4 odds to win the conference, and the Chiefs stand at 9/2. Next are the Texans at 20/1, the Raiders at 25/1, the Colts at 30/1, the Bills at 40/1, and the Steelers and Browns at 50/1.

The Patriots are 14/5 favorites to win the Super Bowl, followed by the Saints at 4/1, the Ravens at 9/2, the 49ers at 8/1, the Chiefs at 9/1, the Packers at 12/1, the Vikings at 14/1, the Seahawks at 16/1, and the Cowboys at 20/1.

  1. Once NE secures the 1 seed and Baltimore fizzles out like all the run first qb-led teams do, this is certainly a strong possibility, even though the nfc is tougher.

  2. The Patriots will be there despite the NFL’s best effort to prevent that from happening. The Saints ? Maybe.

    For Brady and Belichick

    “Seven is heaven”

  3. I think the odds will tighten up even more for many as the next few weeks play out. I myself hope that the Seahawks, who control their own destiny, get there and play the Patriots. Not for Déjà vu but for redemption…

  5. Pats have found their replacement kicker but I put their chances no better/worse than Ravens at the mo. But if Wynn’s return helps fix the o-line and in turn helps the run-game, and if the returning Harry gets into a flow at WR, with that D it’s another title regardless of opponent.

  6. Shame the Chiefs dont have a defense to get to the Superbowl or Win a Superbowl Wasting away Patrick Mahomes cap friendly rookie contract and his prime years

We’ll have to wait and see if the NFL decides to pull a fast one on the Saints again. Just let the chips fall where they may!

  8. Seahawks control their own destiny? Didn’t the Brees less Saints win in the sleepless in Seattle? If the Saints win out, good luck winning! And for th Vikings? Cousins is playing well but wait until the PLAYOFFS and when it counts then the true Kirk will show. I predict Saints and Ravens but I’m skins fan so what do I know but loosing 😂😂😂

    Love this.

Will all be over the bulletin board if Balt makes it to Foxborough.

  10. New England really needs another (consistent) receiving threat. Their defense is stout, they just seem to be misfiring in the passing game.

  11. After Brees stunk the week before against Altanta? If Frisco and Jimmy G had done that, they would not be the NFC favorite to reach the Super Bowl for sure.

  12. Green Bay – Chiefs

Pats cannot survive on FGs and defense. There isn’t a whole lot of competition in the AFC, however the Chiefs and Ravens are 2 truly competitive dynamic teams.

Seeding won’t make a difference for Patriot, their offense is holding them back, 1st seed or not.

This is not their year, but there is no shame in that. It has been one helluva run, a 20 years helluva run.

    ————————————————————————————-
KC is not going on the road and beating anyone in the playoffs.

  14. Saints were robbed last year, if somehow your team were there and being robbed, you would still post these silly comments the following season. Ho hum, someone please give me a link of how the offending refs were disciplined. Still waiting………………

  15. The Vikings could for sure get there this year. They’ve made it clear that they will pay the refs whatever it takes to ignore blatant pass interference and holding on every play.

If the league calls fair games, it comes down to Ravens/Patriots vs Packers/Saints

  16. Pats, KC and Balti are the only true contenders for the SB in the AFC, IMO. Seeding is huge. #2 or #3 seed will have to beat 2 of those teams to get to Miami. #1 seed will have a walkover in the divisional round(Houston, Indy, Oakland,Buff, whatever)

  17. I see the same people calling the Patriots run over and done with every year, and then when the Patriots make the Superbowl it’s these same people saying the Patriots will lose. When the Patriots win its these same people with their dance tired excuses about why they won. 9 Superbowls is all you need to know. Win or lose Brady has been to 9 let that sink in for a moment… there you go now carry on

  18. New England has to get a #1 seed. Then has to have Baltimore NOT get a #1 seed somehow. Assuming it goes something after the bye like:

Pats vs Texans. Ravens vs Cheifs it will absolutely be Ravens vs Pats and Ravens can absolutely win in Foxborough.

Even with a bye and #1 seed every Pats fan should be worried. They will get help from the refs sure, and have a slight edge but no way is this offense going to the Superbowl. Even a suprise win against the Ravens, they are not going to compete with the Saints. You would think Brady vs Brees would be the highest flying biggest scoring superbowl win ever, but not this year.

  19. Vegas knows kansas city head Coach is ANDY ” Marty Schottenheimer” REID. WE saw prime example last nite why that Score was close and that was on Andy Reid spineless playcalling.

This is where Andy Reid fail to call that game like his team was behind and needed a 2 min drill to take the lead. I felt bad for Mahomes you could see the frustration on his face from the WIMPY play-calling that was coming in. I can’t stress enough how Andy reid is not the right fit for Mahomes and i don’t care how some of the talking heads just luv to force this on us.

Andy Reid in the 4 quarter was coaching NOT to lose while he was consumed with the clock like he did in that Titans game. I notice Andy reid only let Mahomes play his game when the team is behind big on the scoreboard, like how Mahomes put up 31 points in the 2nd half on the Patriots and 51 points on the Rams last Season.

  20. What we should all be concerned about is what that devil Goodel has in mind.

Last year we witnessed the corrupt NFL/NY/Goodel attempting to coerce a Chiefs vs Rams SB but they were only able to pull off the Rams ticket.

This Year, no doubt, their ultimate desire is a Chiefs vs Packers SB in celebration of the 100 Year NFL Anniversary. Only problem right now is that the Chiefs are not looking like a contender for the AFCCG.

  21. So 2 immobile, aging pocket-passers will lead their teams to the SuperBowl?? Hmph, imagine that. Here I’ve been told that Wilson/Jackson/Mahomes are the future of how to play QB.

  22. NFL won’t let the Saints get there. Has anybody seen a Saints game this year? It’s a miracle they’ve gotten to 8-2 the way the refs stack things against them every single week. How many touchdowns have they had called back on sketchy penalties. At least a dozen? I’ve lost count at this point.

  23. Vegas doesn’t “see” or “predict” anything. The betting lines are set as a fulcrum, to balance the money beimg bet. That’s how, win or lose, the house always wins. But keep thinking Vegas is making predictions, they really love that

Patriots are definitely not gonna be there with Brady as there quarterback
    ———————————————————————-

And there it is, the PFT version of an absolute guarantee the Pats will make it.

  25. It has been a helluva run, Patriots fans. But the we are so much closer to the end of the run than the beginning.

Remember even Manning’s arm turned noodly. I’m seeing the same from your QB this year.

  26. Fun fact: Last 5 times (or is it 6?) Pats lost to a team in the regular season and played the same team in the playoffs, they lost again in the playoffs.

Maybe they get luckier this time around. Of course they still have to play the Chiefs, too.

  27. I can see Minnesota coming out of the NFC if they play up to their talent level. They’re a pretty damn good team when they’re clicking. Especially since Cousins remembered that he’s not Alex Smith and every throw doesn’t have to be a checkdown

  28. I’m sure that whoever my Saints play in the championship game that Goodell will make sure to put 4 of the 5 refs from around Louisiana like the Rams had from LA last year to make up for last years debacle.

  29. Saints might beat out the Niners, Packers and Seahawks, but not with my money!
And that goes double for this year’s Pats, whose soft schedule does them no favors.

  30. Hate too say it but I think the vikes represent the nfc. They are due

    ———————————————————————

That’s like saying I’m due to win the Powerball. The Lavenders have been due for 59 years.

  32. Patriots’ reputation definitely precedes them. Any other team with such a pathetic offensive production would have been put out to pasture. Face it folks, Pats are done. No way they beat 2 playoff AFC teams back to back whether it’s in Foxboro or not. You’re banking on history and the Pats have had their day and a fantastic run it was.
Too much talent on the other teams and coaching will only get you so far. At some point, the party has to end. No Dee Ford moment this year. Good teams are actually licking their chops to play them. The Pats are not feared at all…

  33. of course the Patriots will make it there. Rodger Goodell wants his legacy to be he was the commissioner during the Run of dynasty. But real football fans know it’s a farce based on easy schedules every year and a great quarterback. By the way has anybody seen that Patriot offense this year.. No good….

  34. The NFL/Riveron and his officiating cronies will make sure it’s a Pats vs Saints Super Bowl with the Pats coming out on top due to a PI non-call. All this just so the NFL can get the last laugh.

Vs Atlanta in the SB the Patriots receiving corps was Edelman, Amandola, Hogan and Malcom Mitchell with 85 year old Martellus Bennett at TE and James White out of the backfield.

This year it’s Edelman, Sanu, Dorsett, Nkeal Harry and Jacoby Meyers with 85 year old Ben Watson at TE and James White out of the backfield.

The Dolts are definitely not gonna be there without the Deflator as their equipment manager.

Simply not the same team since the night of the 2014 AFC championship game when they were caught with underinflated footballs.

Philly licked their chops all the way through that home loss. You don’t have to fear the Patriots to lose to them.

  38. I believe the Pats are very suspect this year. And they still have at least 3 games left that could pose an issue for them. Baltimore looks unbeatable right now. If they win out, I don’t see the Pats matching them. And even if they do, Baltimore holds the tie breaker.

Still, no fear with Brady looking like the 42 year old that he is…

If McVay, Goff and the refs didn’t choke in that SB, the fork would already be in the Pats.
You’re kidding yourself if you don’t think the Ravens, Chiefs and Texans are not looking to beat the Patriots down. They sold their soul to get Brown because they know it’s over. Since when is a team 9-1 and looks as sad as Brady did at that presser? I think the Ravens and Chiefs can put more than 3 points. Where the hell are the Patriots points gonna come from? You shot your wad with the Edelman pass play, ahahahaha! I would love the see the Ravens go up the Foxboro and do it again, but the Pats are losing the #1 seed anyway and we all know they are a mediocre team on the road in the playoffs…fork, fork, fork!

  42. “Super Bowl LIV = Ravens vs Saints…BOOK IT!”

Dee Ford lining up offsides in last years AFCCG. The closest Mahomes will ever get to a Super Bowl if they can’t get a defense around him. Of course, when he gets a monster contract next year there goes any chance of building a team around him. He needs to marry a Gisele who can out earn him so he can give a hometown discount.

  45. And this is precisely the super bowl we should have had last year. Although I do think it will be Saints vs Ravens…WHO DAT!

The difference is Brady is a shell of his former self. He peaked against the Eagles in the SB and hasn’t look the same since. Brady cannot make those long throws anymore so a deep receiving threat isn’t a factor anymore.

Vikings defense is nowhere near Super Bowl caliber at this point of the season. Unless they can figure out their major issues in pressuring the QB and with coverage in their secondary, they are looking at one and done at this point. If they get a home playoff game, then maybe 2 and done.

  51. I think it’s nearly a lock the Saints will be there. It’s either that or another offseason of Payton temper tantrums, whining and ridiculous rule changes circus for months on end.

Raiders v Cowboys that would be a great SB….

I wouldn’t even open the curtains if I heard they were playing out on the front lawn.

  61. How about the 2 best Qb’s vying for the MVP play in the SB?

Russell Wilson vs Lamar Jackson…. Great story lines, Great teams…

Hawks vs Ravens would be interesting and exciting. A lot of offense, some big names on defense.

Much better than another Pats snooze fest.

  62. Tom Brady just had his first game in 20 years where he didn’t lead the team in touchdown passes. That was a nicer way for the media to say Tom Brady didn’t do anything against a really bad Eagles defensive secondary. They have no running game, and no passing game. Edelmen isn’t even getting doubled. They just let Tom have the 5 yard pass.

Great run, great QB, but let’s face it his best days are behind him and the Pats finally dropped the ball on putting quality people around him. He has become a throw away machine.

  63. i skimmed through this for some solid points….

many mentioned that the RE-fix would be in for Brees to not get screwed again.

some mentioned the Raiders… (would love a rematch in Foxborough since there isn’t a tuck rule to bail out tommy boy

but I didn’t see anything on the Cowboys?!

oh wait, their fans cant read or write….

    moving on…..

  64. Patsies are a lock. The NFL and the refs will see to that. The officials made sure the hapless Rams were in the Super Bowl last year. This year the Redskins cheerleaders will be their opponent. Or South Dakota State. Whichever one is worse.
