Titans get four starters back at practice

The bye week was good for the Titans on the injury front.

They played without four starters in their Week 10 win over the Chiefs and the time off has agreed with all of them. Wide receiver Corey Davis, defensive tackle Jurrell Casey, tight end Delanie Walker and linebacker Jayon Brown were all practicing with the team on Wednesday.

Davis missed the Chiefs game with a hip injury while Brown was sidelined by a groin problem. Walker missed three games with an ankle injury and Casey missed the last two games with a shoulder issue.

There are still a couple of days left before the Titans will issue injury designations for their game against the Jaguars, but Wednesday’s developments bode well for Tennessee being in good shape medically as they try to improve to 6-5 on the year.

  1. Delanie is coming off that gruesome injury from last year. Cut the guy a break. We all knew he wouldn’t be back to himself until the 2020 season anyhow. He has heart and he’s pushing himself, but he knows his limits… plus Jonnu & Firkser are playing great

  2. I don’t think Delanie returns in 2020. He had that terrific game in Week 1 with two TDs against the Browns. That has been about it this season.

Let’s see if Delanie can see the field more than a single half this year… getting tired of his injury bug!
Delanie has been a warrior for us, show some respect.

  4. What part has he been a warrior? Coaching from the sidelines? Playing a game or so a year then being hurt? He’s like Mariota, people have this fascination with who they think he should be and simply put hasn’t produced and hasn’t lived up to the hype

  5. Since 2016, he’s gone straight downhill. He had potential and was better than I’m SF, but is getting pretty lazy/non existent the past few years. It’d be nice to have him on the field and producing is all I’m saying.

  6. Wow. In 2017 he had 74 catches for 807 yards. His time as a Titan from 2013-2017 he has 356 catches for 4156 yards. I would say that’s pretty damn good. He had 4 catches for 52 yards in the Miami monsoon game before getting injured in 2018. I am sure that injury is still bothering him to a point and has affected him this year but for you to say he hasn’t been a warrior for this team is complete bunk. You obviously don’t see how he plays the game.
