Tom Brady expected to play Sunday

Yes, the Patriots listed Tom Brady as questionable after they added him to the practice report Friday. No one seriously thought he wasn’t playing, right?

To that end, multiple reports say Brady will play Sunday.

The quarterback went through a limited practice with a right elbow injury Friday after not being on the injury report earlier in the week.

Brady has not missed a game for injury since 2008 when he tore an anterior cruciate ligament in the season opener. Those are the only 15 games he has missed in his career due to injury.

He missed the first four games of the 2016 season while serving a suspension.

Brady has thrown 14 touchdowns and five interceptions this season and has a 90.1 passer rating.

  1. Since 02 the Patriots have lost 23 home games including playoffs there’s a fishy smell coming off the officials after each home game. WHY???

  2. So Brady has 14 touchdowns and 5 interceptions in 10 games and a 90.1 QBR. Colin had 16 touchdowns and 4 interceptions in his last 11 games and a similar QBR. But Colin can’t play right? And remember he had the 32nd worst defense.

are you seriously trying to compare Tom Brady…to Collin Kaepernick?? That is laughable

  4. Every game he wins sets a new record for most wins in NFL history. So he’ll be playing, and you’ll all be watching.

  5. This Day in 1959: Patriots established as an AFC Franchise
This Day in 1963: President John F. Kennedy, former Massachusetts Senator, shot in Dallas.
This week in Foxborough: Dallas Cowboys coming to town.
    Coincidence?

It’s Get Back time in a Get Back game for the offense. Go You New England Patriots!!!

That is packer fan (Tokyo) delusion at its finest. Dumbest fans in NFL. Even aaron has to complain when they do the wave while on offense. SMH

  7. Brady was expected to play in the Eagles game last week but never showed up!

Thank goodness back-up QB Edleman threw the winning TD……….

There was concern he couldn’t play because his favorite protective TuTu was missing.

yet, numerous defensive players have called him the toughest qb they have ever faced

Was that a Brady compliment from tylawpick6? I was beginning to think you and vasteelersfan were one of the same.

  10. Just another round of the PATS being the pats , “FAKE NEWS” to try and make an opponent believe he is hurt.
    LMOA
we all would have heard if he was hurt after the last game “NOT 2 DAYS BEFORE ” the next game.

Nobody said he couldn’t play. We said he couldn’t win and comes with more drama than a van full of drag queens on the way to a wig sale.

  12. He’s always played through injury. Like Drew Bledsoe said you don’t ever want to come off the field. Cowboys won’t be pushovers but their defense doesn’t look nearly as good as last year I smell a shootout.

  13. are you seriously trying to compare Tom Brady…to Collin Kaepernick?? That is laughable
    ———-

If you took reading comprehension you would see I was comparing stats and the absurdity of people saying Colin can’t play. How many games would any pro QB win if they had the 32nd ranked defense and Chip Kelly for a coach?

  14. I have to tamp down my smiles when I read all the jealous comments from the obsessive Patriot followers. Honestly, you spend more time hating on New England than you do cheering for your own team.

  15. Everyone taking the Pats. Cowboys get the W on the road. Then come out flat and lose to Buffalo. This is coming from a Cowboys fan for life.

  16. In other news, Kap’s peeps is saying two teams have an interest in signing him. Of course they don’t identify the teams but we all know the Pats are one of them.

Every game HE wins? I admire all that TB and BB have accomplished (and as a Steelers fan, that is not a popular statement), but this post seems to indicate that TB is winning games this year. The Pats defense is winning games this year, as last week’s game clearly demonstrated. The Pats will make the playoffs this year because TB is still good enough to avoid putting the defense in bad situations and losing games, but most of the credit this season goes to the defense, and BB.

  18. “And remember he had the 32nd worst defense.”
    ========
Isn’t the “32nd worst defense” the #1 defense? In the NFL, the worst defense would be ranked at 32 on a scale of 1-32. So the 32nd worst would be the top defense. Just sayin…

  19. As a Pats fan, this is the worst news you could possibly hear. Brady has been a game manager at best all season, and the cowboys could put up some serious points this week. Stidham a much better option.

TB12’s issue is the offensive line. The other issue is the receivers. Nothing wrong with him. He’s throwing on the run and doesn’t have a solid target outside of Edelman. My guess is that they will do something different with Watson, and once Isaiah Wynn comes back a lot of these issues go away. The defense is good enough to give them time to work thing out. I’d rather they didn’t lose another game, but it may happen.

Watch the difference this week when Wynn returns. Now I wouldn’t expect a Super Bowl LII game from the GOAT but I expect the offense to look much better.

And of course that isn’t a Patriot fan you’re responding to that’s a silly Patriot Hater. Isn’t it adorable that Patriot Hater likes to discuss the 6 time world champions? 🙂

It’s a bunch of teeny little weakling mice discussing the grizzly bear next door!

Umm wow, I mean just wow. Don’t be surprised if you hear an authoritative knock on the door tonight, which may or may not be followed by some nice gentlemen with badges and guns kicking down the door.

  24. Watch the difference this week when Wynn returns. Now I wouldn’t expect a Super Bowl LII game from the GOAT but I expect the offense to look much better.

That is just your emotion speaking. How many games has Wynn even played in the nfl? Stop kidding yourself. Edelman, Sanu and two first round draft picks are more than half the nfl has on their wr lineup. Are you saying Brady needs a stable of wr1s to be successful? Also, actual stats and not emotions prove that the line is top 10 in pass protection on the season, look it up. All of this boils down to the uncomfortable truth: brady is a game manager.

  25. He’s going to play but not going to be happy having 2 rookies and julian Elderman as his only receivers
