Report: Patriots video focuses on Bengals sideline for eight minutes

Getty Images

Whether and to what extent the Patriots will face punishment for Spygate 2 depends in large part on what the video shot by a crew ostensibly filming an in-house documentary feature contains.

Paul Dehner Jr. of TheAthletic.com reports, citing unnamed sources who have seen the video, that “it shows about eight minutes of footage focusing on recording the Bengals’ sideline,” and that it includes “a direct view of the sideline as players run on and off the field and coaches make signals for plays.”

Dehner also reports that the Patriots representative who had the camera captured the images in plain sight, sitting directly in front of a Bengals representative.

The Patriots have admitted that their production crew “inappropriately filmed the field from the press box,” but the team insists that the violation was unintentional and that there was no intention to use the footage for any purpose other than the “Do Your Job” item on the duties of an advance scout.

If the video shows what Dehner says it shows, the NFL can’t properly close the book on this one until it explores fully and completely any and all electronic or other communications between the members of the video crew and others in the organization. Like the text message that became so relevant to #DeflateGate, texts, emails, and/or phone records will show that the video crew had no connection whatsoever to the football operations, or otherwise.

  1. However unlikely it is that the Pats would actually tape the Bungles, they still put themselves in this situation, again. Do (your job) better.

  2. Ok Im not stupid and actually have experience to know….why was this “do your job” bs video not filmed in Foxboro at a home game? The advance scout could be doing the exact same duties,if this truly was for web site content.

  3. Grass is green, water’s wet, and the Patriots cheat.

♫ “That’s just the way it is. Some things will never change…” ♫

  4. Encouraging that it was only 8 minutes and it was described as above.

What I didn’t want to hear is the camera doing what the spygate tapes did, showing the sideline and then the scoreboard showing down distance and time. There is no chance an “independent” video crew would be directed to do that.

Agreed with Florio and I need to see the tape to know for sure. For once in your job Roger do the right thing and release it.

  5. “Do your job” is kinda subjective if you ask me. Once again the rainy cloud of illegally video taping teams hangs over this team. I gave them the benefit of the doubt before as I found spygate and deflategate to be laughable but here we are with new allegations. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck….

  6. You can’t make this up with them. Belichick knows his offense sucks and they can’t afford to drop another game. Just total shock that the pats would cheat. I say take away all their super bowls and suspend them indefinitely. Everything they do is shady and let’s forget that the chiefs equipment was sent to the wrong place as well. It is just crazy and sad

  7. Of course this is the biggest scandal in NFL history, unless you count the following:

The Broncos had ‘salary cap gate’ and ‘mysterious shipments of hgh gate’.

The Ravens had ‘fur coat gate’ and ‘deer antler gate’.

The NY giants had ‘walkie-talkie gate’.

    The 49ers had ‘stickum gate’

The Steelers had a trainer who may have been a steroid dealer.

The Colts pumped in crowd noise during the 2006 AFCCG.

  8. Focusing only on the sideline is an innocent mistake.

Focusing on individuals then panning to the play on the field, then the scoreboard showing down, distance, time etc back and forth like the Spygate tape = not an innocent mistake. That would have come from the football ops,

Release the tape. We need to know.

  9. Again…need stiff fine and penalties regardless if the Browns got bamboozled into allowing a film crew there. Browns probably thought it was safe since they already lost to NE Patroits earlier this season…even though their playoff hopes are still alive. Unbelievable.

  10. Well…by now, they’re well-versed in hiding/distorting evidence. MINIMALLY, the punishment should be attaching an asterisk to every game they’ve won since the alleged cheating began. They should absolutely be docked draft picks as well but I’d be satisfied with an official asterisk for now

  11. Cheaters, plain and simple. They didn’t learn last time, Proper punishment this time would be no playoff games for five years.

  12. Uh, yeah, this is actually spygate 3.
#2 was when the Bronco’s hired Josh McDaniels from the Past as Head Coach.
Yeah, Denver fired him that week. Google it.

  13. “Mr. Jastremski would sometimes work out and bulk up — he is a slender guy and his goal was to get to 200 pounds. Mr. McNally is a big fellow and had the opposite goal: to lose weight. “Deflate” was a term they used to refer to losing weight.” – Actual statement from the New England Patriots

Will Goddell have the evidence against the Patriots* destroyed like in Spygate 1.0?
    ———-
Those videos where shown on national TV for hours on a loop. I saw them and so did millions of other people. They were hours and hours of coaches making hand signals. Pretty much what you see a third base coach do in from of everyone in a baseball game.

Since they use radio to call in the plays these days, I’m not sure what possible advantage filming might have?

  15. again the old saying is “IF YOU AINT CHEATING, YOU AINT TRYING!”
comes back to haunt the PATS.
take draft picks away until they stop doing it.
If I was BRADY I would take my talents elsewhere next year.

  18. This could be deeper.. Some ppl are asking, why the bungles? well, who is to say that it’s been just the bungles? Maybe just the one time they got caught…*again* lol

Agreed. If it’s just Ossenfort narrating on what he is looking for as part of scouting with the production team panning over to show the viewer, then there’s nothing. It’s literally documenting what a scout does.

I am also glad it was not a playoff team like Houston, KC or even if they waited until this week to scout Buffalo, because it would show some kind of intent.

There’d have to be a zooming in to also show intent. Plus, I don’t get what the signals are that can’t be seen by anyone else.

Goodell has himself in a pickle again, though. He must release the tape be seen as transparent.

    I hope Kraft demands it.

No, it’s not. Because that never happened. When ESPN is your source, you have nothing.

    ————————

    Um, what??

Do you even know what an “advance scout” does? He scouts the NEXT opponent before his team plays them. That means he NEEDS to travel to where that team is playing and he’s NEVER at home in Foxboro…

  25. Love how people say “Why the Bengals, they stink”. Simple, because BB has never coached against Zac Taylor before and every little bit would help. Tendencies, formations, signals etc.

do I think there is a “smoking gun” here? No clue. It could be nothing. BUT, when you have a reputation already for circumventing and/or breaking the rules, stuff like this will send up red flags.

  26. what are they filming?? Defensive and offensive plays are sent in via communicators… The days of hand signals are long over. Sometimes a mistake is just a mistake but it’s the Patriots so it will be blown all out of proportion.

  27. Part of the first Spygate report that is hard to overlook…
    —–
Van Natta and Wickersham report that although the Patriots lost that game, they realized a “schematic” edge over other teams. They “streamlined the system,” finding a more efficient way to note the plays and relay the information, cutting out the quarterbacks, with only a few people, including Belichick.

Soon, advanced scouts would be sent to the games of upcoming Patriots’ opponents to film the play signals. The scouts would go undercover as media members, with media credentials listed under “Patriots TV” or “Kraft Productions” and were prepared with excuses of what to say they were filming if security asked.
    —–

  28. Honestly, the only thing I see them guilty of is stupidity…I mean the dude was wearing Bruins gear LOL.

Its just a bad look and they should know better.

  29. This is more than ironic. The integrity of the league is still damaged by Spygate 1. The torches and pitchforks are already out, fines and suspensions will not suffice if this is what it seems to be. The Patriots Dynasty is already tainted to a certain point, if there is fire where there is smoke with this latest news, the dynasty should be discredited.

  30. They are a good enough team that they don’t have to cheat, especially against a team like the Bengals so it begs the question, WHY??? It’s like an obsession with them, they just have to cheat.

  31. Goodell has himself in a pickle again, though. He must release the tape be seen as transparent.

    I hope Kraft demands it.

    ——
The idea that Goodell destroyed the tapes last time was gasoline on the spygate fire.

If he learned his lesson that won’t happen now.

    Release the tape.

Pats fans, please tell us how we are haters and crybabies and all this is a big nothing

Think about like a rational person.

IF the Patriots we’re trying to do something inappropriate WHY would they get credentials dress in Patriots attire and set of the Camera right in front of a Bengals employee?

If they were trying to do something shady all they would have to do is buy a ticket sit in the stands and film whatever they wanted on a feel phone. 8 whole minutes

If you go to the Patriots website there is a series of web series called Do Your Job. The most recent follows an athletic trainer.

They would do this at home because it’s NOT what an advanced scout does. He’s on the Road.

  33. The “outrage” over this is because it’s concerning the most successful team ever. That’s the only reason. It froths the anti-champion crowd to no end. Good.

  34. Like someone so adroitly already said, why go to all this effort to film the Bengals when you can just watch an episode of South Park?

  35. So it’s 8 minutes of the Bengal sidelines. How long is the total tape? Also, is there footage of the Cleveland sideline as well? If there is, it would be less damning, since they’ve played the Browns already.

  36. why was this “do your job” bs video not filmed in Foxboro at a home game?
    ———————————-
‘cuz when you wait until game day it’s a bit late to do the job of ADVANCED scouting

  37. Um, what??

Do you even know what an “advance scout” does? He scouts the NEXT opponent before his team plays them. That means he NEEDS to travel to where that team is playing and he’s NEVER at home in Foxboro…
    ______________________________________________

And, in the case of the Patriots, the “advance scout” records the opposition’s sideline activities.

  38. What the Patriots have going for them is that it was the mighty Bengals that were being filmed-but due diligence has to be performed by the NFL as Mike stated with checking other communications (if any ) that occurred during the filming. I suspect that this has nothing to do with Belichick and everything to do with Kraft Productions bleeping up royally and a fine will be paid-but that’s all.

  41. Getting credentials, letting the team know, using an outside vendor to shoot the video… those sneaky Patriots.

Ridiculously dumb for them to hire a camera within 10 miles of a football stadium in light of the past, but just as ridiculous to conclude some advantage was gained.

  43. I smell a rat. When approached by security, the “independent” cameraman said can we destroy the tape and forget the whole thing? Oh, just like Brady’s cellphone?
What’s more alarming is an organization like the Patriots who leaves no stone unturned and crosses every t and dots every i would inform the Browns, but FORGET to notify the NFL or Cincy of this taping. Really, BB?
Of course, you going to tell the Browns, you are in their building!

  44. If you are a professional sports team using signals to exchange information between coaches and players and you don’t change the signals daily (as in baseball) or weekly (in football), then you probably deserve to have your signals stolen. I played American Legion and High School baseball 45 years ago and the coaches altered the signals every game.

Not that any of that excuses the Pats from being so stupid. Geez, buy an iPhone X, buy a ticket to the game, and get all of the video you need. This is not rocket science.

  45. “Dehner also reports that the Patriots representative who had the camera captured the images in plain sight, sitting directly in front of a Bengals representative.”

There’s many true great coaches that were better than belichick. Bill Walsh is much better than belichick, and he didn’t have to cheat. Montana is the real GOAT. Undefeated in the superbowl, 4-0, never threw an interception in four superbowls, played in the toughest most physical era, wasn’t given free first downs just for being touched, defenses can hit you on the head and knees.
Brady = lebron ,both choked many times in the superbowl/finals

    *****************************************************************

There was no evidence needed in SpyGate. BB never denied filming the Jets sideline. His point of contention was that it was not a violation to do so, according to the NFL’s Operations Manual. And if you have read the actual language you know he was correct.

Roger Goodell however has the authority to apply sanctions, as TB 12 learned, whether he is right or wrong. His authority is supreme.

The tapes were destroyed as a compromise; BB would not allow the league investigators to take his archived tapes off-premise.

  48. First – let me say I’m biased. I am a miserable Bengals fan. I will also say this is the genius of New England. Spy now when no one expects it against a horrible team. If by some miracle, Burrow and Zach Taylor emerge from this debacle and are good – NE has all they need to cheat again. It’s a shame that such genius has to resort to this but don’t sweep this under the rug because the Bengals are bad.

  49. if they are doing this against cincy they are doing it against everyone. when you’re that good for that long, something abnormal is going on.

    ——-
I have long defended this organization’s controversies by saying cheaters don’t hide what they are doing….and the Patriots haven’t.

What would fall in that category though is illegal taping of the sideline for the football ops under the guise of a documentary… I will not defend that and neither should any Patriot fan.

    Release the tape!

  52. These guys make it incredibly hard to support them. How many times should you have to defend your team against stuff like this?
How stupid do you have to be to make a ‘mistake’ like this? Maybe there was no malicious intent but honestly with their history it really doesn’t matter.

  53. “Why on earth tape the Bengals of all teams.”
    ============

If I was going to start spying on teams, I’d choose the worst team for practice runs. The thinking would be that of “who would suspect you of cheating against the Bengals?” Only, the Keystone Cops did get caught. Morons

  54. Look at the upset people over 8 minutes of video none of you has even seen yet.

Got those pitchforks ready to go?

  55. Stupid by the Pats? Yes, no doubt about it. A smoking gun that proves systemic cheating? Sorry, but no. Now if at least one other team says the same thing happened, and I’m sure they would have if anything remotely like this occurred, then it’s a different story.

  56. Nooooo not 8 whole minutes

Think of all that can be learned 🙄

Well you could have been intimate with your wife then had 7 minutes and 27 seconds to go make her a sandwich. That’s how you’d spend 8 minutes

  57. This likely is a surprise to NO ONE.
I am a Steelers fan so I admittedly have an axe to grind. But I will tell you this – the next time AND EVERY TIME I hear about being ‘tied’ at 6 SBs apiece with the Cheats, what do you think I will say?
No, not that their SB trophies should be returned for asterisk installation!
    No, I will say ‘Why?’
Why did a team with such a great QB and HC find it necessary to do this?
Yo, Belicheat!! You didn’t NEED to do this, dummy!!! CIN? The J E T S?
    C’mon, man!!!

  58. Anybody with half a brain knows this is NOTHING. The only people that don’t, have their axes to grind. They WANT to believe. Just like people that chase UFOs and Bigfoot. They’re much more on the fringe than they think. History will give the Pats their well deserved accolades, without asterisks. Haters will just have to live with that. This Pats fan could care less what they think. Unfortunately, the Pats are in a no win situation here. When it comes out it was just an innocent mistake, the hater fringe will just cry bagjob.

  59. Love me some Matt Chatham calling it like it is:

“Also kinda professionally ridiculous for this business:

Not knowing the difference between the the team video department (practice & game tape) and the .com/films media operations for all the teams. These aren’t the same thing, ding-dongs. They have nothing to do w/ one another.”

  60. Wow, can’t believe the amount of Pats fans twisting themselves into logic pretzels in order to defend the indefensible AGAIN. Sad team, sad fans.

  61. I’m a Bengals fan and I think they asked the Patriots to record them so they can get some tips and feedback from them.

  62. A couple things: We need to all slow down and not overeact here. For those that don’t remember, the Deflategate scandal was all triggered by ESPN (Mortenson) releasing false air pressure numbers that sent everyone into hyper anger mode. This “8-minutes” report by a longtime Bengals writer and fan was “according to sources”. It could be just like Mort’s info. I’m surprised Mike Florio wrote this article since he was one of the first to point out the ESPN false tweet. Secondly, the Patriots do produce these “Do your job” videos for their website. For a documentary video, it would not be out of the ordinary to film the Bengals sideline to tell the story on the scout. It definitely is bad judgement by the Patriots to even be doing something that could be perceived as cheating, but to me it seems silly that they would get media credentials, set up a camera in front of a Bengal rep, and try to capture possible hand signals (that teams don’t do much anymore) of a bad team?

  63. I know it sounds odd, but only 8 minutes of film and it was done directly in front of a Bengals representative? Add in that any press box view likely looks at the Bengals side so you could say any camera view looks directly at everyone on the sideline.

Of course this could be some idiot who decided that advance scouting examples for film should include how they follow what personnel groupings.

It just sounds too stupidly executed to have been planned and intentional.

  64. Well, we are just jealous. Heck, I just wish my team would cheat their way to wins too. And if caught, I would just raise a glass (and a SB trophy or three) and grin.

  65. The league has their own video department. I’m sure it won’t be too hard for them to verify whether it’s normal for a B roll tape to be 8 minutes focused on one thing.

  66. Hand signals are used to signal personnel groups, the film shows those signals and players running on and off the field. Its an advantage if you can pick up the Defenses personnel packages quick enough to counter with your Offense personnel. The Defensive play calls are sent in to the Defense via the headset. So it is kind of a big deal.

  67. I fail to see how this is different from the performance enhancing drugs issue when looking at punishment. The NFL doesn’t care if you say you didn’t knowingly take steroids, you got busted with it in your system. Taking the video is all they need, they don’t have to prove intent. Second time, enhanced punishment.

  68. It cracks me up with the Patriot fans and the sympathizers say “it’s only 8 minutes. Eight minutes can be alot of game time recording with pausing. Come on people, if it walks and quacks like a duck….it must be a duck!

  77. Why would a cheating advance scout need to video hand signals? Could they not just write down the hand signal and the time on the game clock? Then they can use the official tape of the game to tie the hand signals to down/distance/formation etc using the time noted.

  78. The first Spygate was not limited to tapes. It was about a broad culture of cheating, including jamming radio signals. There was another accusation after that, where Brady’s helmet radio would continue to have communication with McDaniels beyond the limit of 15 seconds. the same McDaniels, who was accused of having the 49ers walk-through taped. Very similar to the current Bengals, the 49ers had nothing back then. All they would do was running the ball up the middle. McDaniels wasn’t ready, he was sloppy and got caught, disgracefully fired. Guess who welcomes him back with arms wide open. And no, I never for a second believed the “deflator” nickname was a reference to weight loss.

  80. To be fair, the video crew was clearly just doing their job. And it’s not hard to figure out what that job was.

  81. If this is true – and the league must act quickly – the Pats should be made to forfeit the Bengals game.If a connection is made to the coaching staff they should be made to forfeit the rest of the season, and additional penalties need to be assessed, (draft picks, fines, etc., etc.).

I’m a Patriots fan of 50 years, but if this proves out as cheating it is completely unacceptable, especially with the Spygate history.

  82. Is the entire recording eight minutes, or does it include an eight-minute stretch where that particular cheater didn’t take his lens off of the Bengals’ sideline and coaches?

Pats fans pulled this bs with the deflated footballs, too — that PSI number they continue to tearfully parrot everywhere refers to one of the flattened footballs; the others were even further underweight.

And if you count McDaniels’ back-to-back busts, this is the fourth or fifth time going back to the Rams’ Super Bowl in 2001, and this is just when they’ve been caught.

As to the content, no way does chess-player and rules guru Belicheat not have the related down, yardage and score assigned to a separate cheater.

And please, have a shred of honor and self-respect! Stop with the crying, “You hate me! You’re jealous!” everytime you’re caught.

  83. Suspend Belichick for the remainder of 2019 and all of 2020.

Forfeiture of all 2020 draft picks.

No compensatory draft picks until 2025.

  85. It’s not about Cincinnati any more than deflate gate was about the Colts and Spygate 1 etc. Those instances are just when they were finally caught. So the premise of ‘it wouldn’t make sense for the Pats to tape the 1 win Bengals’ is moot. When a liar or cheater gets caught, it’s just the first time they were caught after years of lying and cheating.

  86. Wow! There are seriously a lot of tin-foil hat wearing nut-jobs posting here right now. Making broad assumptions based upon bias, misinformation and in several cases, out-right lies. Please folks, slow your roll and wait to see what happens.

    ————————

Way to quote an article that was done about Spygate 10 years after the fact. So conjecture is proof in your world? Spygate was indeed filming from the wrong location. Guess who took McDaniels as their Offensive Coordinator and QB coach after the Broncos? The Rams did so are they miscreants as well? The “deflator” text was in the offseason, the month of May I believe. One text out of thousands. Draw your own conclusion.

  89. The Patriots have to know that with all of their history, that breaking any rule regarding taping of other teams would come with a predetermined guilty verdict in the court of public opinion regardless of what happened/intent, ect.

Penalties should be severe if for no other reason than stupidity.

  90. Part of what is concerning about this is in the original Spygate investigation one of the Patriots coaches they interviewed specifically said that if you get caught to claim that you are filming for a promo video. It’s literally word for word what they are doing now

Why don’t you clear up all the deflated football BS and let us all know what the anchor was for each ball starting the game. So the refs measured the PSI, right? Why is there no log of these #s? So you or anyone else for that matter cannot say what amount of PSI dropped. You call us parrots. The irony.

  92. And those of you justifying this by saying teams dont use hand signals anymore must not watch games on Sunday. Hand signals are still very much a part of how sidelines communicate with players, how QBs communicate with WRs, how Dbacks make checks, ect. ect…

  93. Here’s the thing, the Partriots used up any leeway the NFL would give them in the last two cheating scandals. Now its time to throw the book at them and see if they have any appetitie for another episode of breaking the rules.

    ***************************************************************************************************************************YES, he will

  99. The real story here is the unabashed outpouring of nonsensical blabber caused by the pure unadulterated jealousy.

Hey, remember that time “Mort” reported league sources told him 11 of 12 Patriots footballs were more than 2 lbs under PSI, and that turned out to be false? So keep on believing these reports, and then ask yourself who the fool is.

  100. Sounds like advanced scouts go to upcoming opponents’ games every week. I’m guessing all teams send advance scouts to upcoming opponents’ games. So they all know this is normal practice.
If you have advanced scouts at upcoming opponents’ games, and the opponents know it because they do it also, there’s no advantage, you can write down this information you’re gleaning by being at the game. So this video is probably harmless and gives them zero competitive advantage. And it’s probably something that all teams do, but nobody ever mentioned because who ever talks about NFL Scouting?

    1. That is not remotely true
    2. You don’t actually know what Spygate was.
    3. You are quoting a story that had NOTHING to do with Spygate, and was completely fabricated, was denounced by the NFL, and the paper had to print a full retraction.

  102. It’s only 8 minutes…because the Bengals caught them so they stopped, or they’d have kept filming. If you’re filming a special about “Do your job then maybe film your own game, not suspiciously filming a Bengals vs. Browns game knowing you play the Bengals the next week. Too many coincidences.
Besides, the way the Patriot offense has been going they do in fact NEED help, even against a one win team.

  103. Since they obviously didn’t learn their lesson from Spygate 1, the NFL should give them an NFL-version of the death penalty – no draft picks for at least two years, no comp picks, either.

  105. Asterisks and rewriting history is for losers and excuse makers. The Patriots are the greatest dynasty in NFL history as the NFL record book will show. Maybe the haters and excuse makers that hate losing to the dynasty should watch Oprah instead of NFL.

  106. I think it’s most interesting that this conduct was admittedly inappropriate at its base. So the Patriots will get their hands slapped at a minimum, regardless of what is on the video.

Whatever is on the video can only make the situation worse for the Patriots, as it could confirm as yet unsubstantiated accusations that the video team was recording material that could be used to gain an unfair advantage.

So this happened in KC? Does your city support the Chiefs or Pats?

  108. The advance scout was doing his job. It’s not the football operations side’s fault Kraft productions wasn’t doing their job. People actually think the football side watches “Do Your Job” video tape. Amazing. Robert Kraft needs to stop being obsessed with PR. This is where stupidity hits the head on the nail. If they cheated wouldn’t they have 3 more SB titles in the Brady era? Frauds usually win 75% of their games too. Just go back to your room of disappointments.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! Now the Pats are paying other teams people that make the plans/itinerary to divert the planes to other airports. This is rich! Love it!!

  111. Are you allowed to WATCH the sidelines? Are you allowed to draw pictures? There’s a reason guys hold the playsheet over their mouths. You know that people are watching. Don’t be surprised.

  112. Don’t agree with some comments about difference between filming only sideline versus panning field and sideline combined. Video guy could note game time the sideline filming started and sync it up with actual footage of game back in office.

And how do you know what percent of games are won from cheating and the 3 Super Bowl loses , well they were all very close games so yeah those could very well of been won also ….. I think you better re-think stupidity and while your at it find a mirror, cheaters don’t always win

  114. Haven’t seen the Deflator guy around , is he still on his diet to loose weight or is he now the inflator and putting on the pounds from getting all that hush money ?

  115. For all the people saying “why would they need to spy on the Bengals”, the last I checked the Bengals are still good enough to be a pro team and the Patriots are in a position right now where they can’t afford to lose or the playoffs don’t go though Foxboro.

  116. For the 99 44/100% who have no idea about sports marketing, these folks are a nuisance. DOM of a hockey team was specifically told that a permit was needed to hang a 40’x40’ banner on a city parking garage above a very busy intersection. They went on the “better to ask forgiveness than permission “ concept. Team president wasn’t pleased when the $10 k banner had to come down the weekend of the game. I suspect this is a similar case of overzealous vidiots (legit industry pet name) being clueless.

  117. Could we please have New England fans stop pretending they’re the victim of some conspiracy by Goodell to punish them for winning? There’s no other team that gets caught doing this Spygate stuff like yours. Likewise, please stop deflecting by claiming it’s just the “jealousy” of other fans is the problem here. It’s really gotten old. You got nailed again, deal with it. Go make another web site that pretends to not be made by Patriots fans, that documents alleged cheating by all the other teams, if it makes you feel better.

    ———————————
    Seems reasonable.
The guys job involved adding and removing air to get footballs to the regulation 12.50 PSI.

The off-season text doesn’t explain how the COLTS FOOTBALLS WERE DEFLATED.
Even after the Colts footballs were kept in a dry bag for most of the 1st half of the game while the Patriots dominated the time-of-possession. Even after the Colts footballs were then allowed to warm up indoors while dimwits measured 11 of the Patriots footballs twice.

Measuring all of the Patriots footballs twice before measuring one of the Colts footballs explains why the Colts footballs had slightly higher PSI measurements. Science says that cold weather and rain dropped the PSI in footballs. Fools look at one word in a text message sent months before and invent conspiracy theories. Bigger fools forget about how the text message was already obtained and then cry about a replaced phone.

    ———————————————————–
The NFL already owes the Patriots 3 draft picks to make up for the 2 draft picks that were stolen when dimwits couldn’t understand 7th grade science. The extra pick is interest for not having 2 players that could have helped the Patriots win another superbowl.

Its time for the NFL to finally demonstrate some integrity and transparency and release the PSI data that has been hidden from football fans.

  120. Nothing brings out the cry babies, torches and pitch forks like a pats slander article 😂😂😂😂

  121. Clever cheaters for sure trying the worse team in the league thinking they wouldn’t get caught. Then Belcihiks denials and I don’t know nothing blank looks start. Well deserved cheating oscar clap clap.

    ————————————————-
Do you understand what happened with the Chiefs equipment? Well, Jets fan. Are you one of the dingbats who think the teams send their equipment FEDEX or UPS? Let me explain it to you. The teams carry their equipment on the plane with them, in the cargo hold, so they have it immediately, otherwise they might have to forfeit the game. Chiefs equipment personnel are responsible to ensure all their equipment is taken off the charter plane, just like every other team in the league. They left an equipment case on the plane, which then flew to Newark. Has nothing to do with the Patriots or any Patriots fans.

  123. Film the players running on and off the field for a couple of minutes (we all have to admit that, in a Bengals-Browns game, that’s the most interesting part)… film the sideline to know which player is studying or showing emotion and which player is working on his instagram or twitter feed… get a few good cuts out of this… ask Morgan Freeman to tell a story and leave the scout voice in the background…

    Sounds like a great show!
