The Packers are getting a player back from injury, just in time for the NFC Championship.

Green Bay has activated safety Raven Greene from injured reserve.

Undrafted out of James Madison in 2018, Greene played in the first two games of the year, starting the Thursday night opener in Chicago. Last year, he played in eight games before landing on IR in December.

The 14-3 Packers face the 49ers on Sunday, if you haven’t heard. The winner will represent the conference in Super Bowl LIV, if you haven’t heard.

  1. It’s a tremendous honor for both teams just to be in this game. Tomorrow we watch NFL royalty square off in a battle of the elite.

This level of greatness truly is humbling.

  2. Now we know why Gute was keeping the roster at 52 for the last few days.

Glad to get Raven back on the 53 and this also tells us that JK Scott is good to go for tomorrow in Gute’s mind.

  3. Gutey probably made the move at the hotel bar from his phone. He’s doing a nice job keep up the good work. Next move for next year is get one of those Bama receivers opposite Davante. It’s time to address offensive skill positions in GB

  4. We’ll see if Greene is up to game speed. Shut down the run, try to LIMIT Kittle, and put the game in Jimmy G’s hands to win the game.
