The Vikings announced they signed receiver Bralon Addison to a futures deal.

Addison spent the past two seasons playing for the Hamilton Tiger Cats in the Canadian Football League.

He earned CFL East Division All-Star honors in 2019 by catching 95 passes for 1,236 yards and seven touchdowns. Addison also ran for 218 yards and a touchdown on 36 carries.

Addison originally entered the NFL in 2016, signing with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon. He spent time with the Broncos and Bears during his rookie season.

Addison played two games with the Bears, catching one pass for 11 yards, rushing one time for 4 yards, returning two punts for 3 yards and returning one kickoff for 18 yards.

The Vikings also announced they signed defensive end Stacy Keely to a futures deal Tuesday. Keely spent the 2018 season on the Vikings’ practice squad after signing as an undrafted free agent in May.

  1. Desperate times require desperate moves. The Vikings are wasting no time with their long over due rebuild.

Also, Trubisky owns my Lions. 4-0 and undefeated against Detroit.

  2. Doesn’t make sense to sign another wide receiver if the O-Line cannot block for the QB to have time to throw to a wide receiver!!!! SMH

There are probably 32 teams that should have drafted Mahomes. And if teams knew that he was going to be what he is, he would have been the first overall pick, while others would have been offering multiple first round picks to get him.

Well, if the Vikings weren’t the odds-on favorite to go 16-0 and win the Super Bowl before, they sure are now.

This guy will be offered a full ride to Univ of WI for this genius remark.

The Vikings have good scouting in the CFL. It makes sense since they border…Canada.

They picked up Zylstra last year, cut him, now he’s on Carolina’s active roster.

    …so there you go….derp

  5. Funny could have sworn i read the packers had there eye on a top receiver in canada. Looks like Spielman won again.all i know the pack wont beat the vikes next year, chalk up two loses there.

    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Get over yourself. You don’t have to pick a needless fight, no matter what your Neanderthal friends tell you. The Packers signed their star CFL receiver two weeks ago.

  7. Vikes fans, if he makes the team you will instantly fall in love with his work ethic, his heart and determination. He is very hard to bring down after he catches the ball.
I watched this man play all last season and he was my favorite player on the team.
I am kind of hoping he gets cut so he can come back to play for my Ti-Cats.

  8. Just checked out his highlight reel. Holy crap this guy is looking legit, definitely worth a flyer on, as he demonstrates an array of solid skills, not a one trick pony type of receiver.

  9. I appreciate the couple guys that gave us a real comment and scouting report. It’s a flyer. All teams do this. Nothing ventured nothing gained. The Vikings definitely need a third WR that can consistently stretch the field. Can this guy do that? Can he play punt and kick coverage? Then it’s a great idea/try.

  10. I hope he makes the team. I remember him playing QB also so he can be used for some trick plays too. Can be helpful on special teams, very versatile player.
