Edgerrin James has decided on his presenter for his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August.

James told 1070 The Fan that Colts owner Jim Irsay will present him.

“Guy who signed my first paycheck,” James said.

James spent the first seven of his 11 NFL seasons in Indianapolis. His 12,246 career yards rank 13th on the NFL’s all-time rushing list.

James earned election in his sixth year of eligibility and fourth as a modern-era finalist.

Irsay presented former Colts receiver Marvin Harrison for the Hall of Fame in 2016.

  1. I am still a little surprised that he got into the hall of fame but maybe he did more than I remember. I always thought of him as very good not great.

  2. That dude is not worthy by a mile.

He never even faced a stacked box and put up ok numbers.

I would give Ricky Williams a gold jacket before him!

    And I am dead serious

  3. The Edge is 16th all-time in yards from scrimmage. All but one of the 15 in front of him are in the HOF or will be (all but Tiki Barber). 11 of those 15 played more seasons and 2 played the same amount of seasons. I think because he faded fast that people do forget how good he really was.
