James Hurst suspended four games

The Ravens will be without offensive lineman James Hurst for the start of the 2020 season.

The team announced on Friday afternoon that Hurst has been suspended for the first four games of the year. Hurst violated the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Hurst will be able to participate in offseason work, training camp and preseason games before the suspension goes into effect ahead of Week One.

Hurst appeared in every game for the Ravens last season and made a pair of starts at left tackle when Ronnie Stanley was out of the lineup. He started 42 games at different spots on the line over his first five seasons, but he won’t be able to add to that total right off the bat in 2020.

  1. Another Ravens cheating scandal where’s Mueller let’s see how deep this goes and who knew what and when

  2. Not surprising at all. The Ravens are loaded with players who have used everything from deer antler spray to likely Peyton Manning’s Guyer HGH source, which at one point was not detectable by NFL tests back in 2015 when that cheating story broke.

Why was Edleman suspended last year? Can anyone remind me? Why was Brady suspended a few years ago? Why did TB destroy his phone after deflating footballs? Why was Belicheck fined and the Patriots docked draft picks? Why did the patriots record signs and walk-throughs?????
So many unanswered questions. Can anyone enlighten me on why the Patriots dynasty is tainted with constant cheating. Just sayin’… Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones …
