The Giants have added one of the top cornerbacks in free agency.

James Bradberry, who has spent the past four years in Carolina, has agreed to terms with the Giants, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

It’s a three-year, $45 million contract with $32 million guaranteed, according to the report.

The 26-year-old Bradberry was a 2016 second-round pick of the Panthers and has played his entire career in Carolina.

Bradberry was the No. 32 player on our list of the Top 100 free agents.

  1. Too bad Eli is no longer there – Bradberry could have had thousands of interceptions during practice.

  2. I’ll never forget Julio absolutely dusting Bradberry on a shallow drag route for a TD. Bradberry relies on length and physicality but can get burnt by fast WRs. To his credit though, most of us would get toasted by Julio. Still though, too much money for this guy, I believe.

  3. He fits their scheme perfectly. Bradberry is a pure 4-3 corner. Great tackler, not a lot of top end speed, but he’s a very good number 2 guy to man a zone and does not shy away from tackling backs in the flat. He’s not a player to man up on a fast receiver one-on-one, and that’s not what the Giants defense is designed to do.

  4. GIANTS needed a Veteran Corner and they got a Good One.

Not a great one, but a Good one.
