Delanie Walker drawing interest from Washington, Indianapolis, Green Bay

Delanie Walker won’t play for the Titans in 2020, but who will he play for?

He apparently has several suitors.

Washington, Indianapolis and Green Bay have expressed interest in the tight end, John Keim of ESPN reports.

Walker, 35, ended the past two seasons on injured reserve, so interested teams might want to wait until their team doctor can check out Walker’s right ankle.

Walker broke his right ankle in the 2018 season opener. The ankle limited him to 21 catches for 215 yards and two touchdowns in seven games last season.

Thus, he has played only eight games and made only 25 catches for 267 yards and two touchdowns over the past two seasons combined.

  1. Here is to hoping that Rivera asks Chase Young to go both ways and play TE as well.

  2. He’d be a typical Redskins’ signing: Old, an injury history, and not a lot of recent playing time.

  3. No thanks. I’d rather see the packers for with Jace Sternberger who came on late last year. Bring back Lewis for a year and draft another TE plus we have Tonyan.

  4. This is exactly the type of TE Green Bay continues to bring in year after year. So much so that I’d be shocked if he didn’t sign there.

  5. Maybe Carolina will add him as they seem to be collecting malcontent, injury prone guys who are over 30

Green bay, where TEs go to waste talent.
    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Green Bay unloaded Graham after he produced nearly identical numbers to Rudolph in Minnesota, for very similar compensation. The biggest difference? Rudolph is still on the active roster!

  7. No way, I’d be shocked if Gutey went that route.
Bring back Marcedes Lewis as your blocking TE. He’s good at the line of scrimmage.
Tyler Eifert played healthy all of 2019. Jacob Hollister is available too. Both offer more promise than Walker and at a lower salary. Stay away from Ebron,…. please. He can’t catch.

What is your basis for Delanie Walker being a malcontent? He was a great teammate in TN and nothing but professional. Everyone here still loves him.

Frankly, a team with a young TE group would be lucky to have him depending on the contract. If he is finally healthy again, he might even be able to give you a decent amount on the field. I wouldn’t put it past him.
