Bruce Arians: Tom Brady will make everyone around him better

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will make the whole team better with his mere presence in the locker room, according to coach Bruce Arians.

Arians said in a statement that having a Hall of Fame quarterback makes a difference to the whole team, well beyond the passes that quarterback throws on game days.

“Tom is the most successful quarterback in the history of our league, but what makes him so special is his ability to make those around him better,” said Arians. “I have had the privilege to work with some of the best passers in our game, and the characteristics they all possessed were the ability to lead and get the best out of their teammates. Tom is no different. He is a proven winner who will provide the leadership, accountability and work ethic necessary to lead us to our goal of winning another championship.”

Arians thinks he has the quarterback who can lead the Bucs to the Super Bowl.

I disagree. Tom IS different. That’s what makes him so special. Saying “Tom is no different” is actually insulting. People like Brady and Jordan literally reject the idea of losing. There are a ton of people that reject losing. They are a dime a dozen.

However there are a rare select few SUCCESSFUL people that reject losing.

  3. I’m pulling for TB12, but I just think this experiment will end badly. Unitas and Namath had pitiful second careers. Montana and Favre had some success with their final teams, but they were also surrounded by more talented rosters AND they were much younger at the time. Manning was the lone exception, having won the SB. But his contributions were minimal. In fact, the Broncos won because they were talented enough to win despite Manning, who by that time was a shell of what he once was. He was simply along for the ride.

  4. The media has to be just thrilled that Brady landed in Tampa. The self proclaimed maven of football Arain’s never has been shy around a microphone. Can you just imagine what this clown will say pre and post game. It might be the best reality show in sports.

  5. Bruce Arians is a mouth running fraud and isn’t far off from how much Rex Ryan loved a microphone.

At 43, no OTAs (not that he would go), no mini camp with the Coronavirus, don’t expect to see a smooth transition into a new system, environment, teammates, etc.

Brady just went from the inside of a Rolls Royce to a Ford Festiva.
