Chiefs coach Andy Reid explains how he's always stayed flexible with his offensive scheme, including bringing in RPO concepts when Alex Smith came to Kansas City.

The Chiefs took care of some paperwork Monday, releasing a player who hasn’t played since 2018.

Per the league’s transaction wire, the Chiefs released linebacker Martrell Spaight from the reserve/retired list.

He had signed with them in January 2019, but was placed on reserve/retired last May.

The former fifth-round pick from Arkansas played 37 career games with Washington, Miami, and Jacksonville.
