Packers sign sixth-rounder Jake Hanson

The Packers are down to one unsigned draft pick.

Center Jake Hanson became the eighth member of this year’s draft class to agree to a four-year deal with the team on Friday. That leaves third-round pick Josiah Deguara as the only player selected in April who hasn’t come to an agreement yet.

Hanson started 49 games at Oregon over the last four years. He was a second-team Pac-12 pick in each of his final two years with the Ducks.

Hanson was one of three offensive linemen selected by the Packers in the sixth round this year. Guards Jon Runyan Jr. and Simon Stepaniak were the others.

  1. Take the money and run young man and do whatever it takes to NOT play this year or next!

    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    Why wouldn’t we?

  5. Corey Linsley has been a rock at center since 2014. Jake Hanson will be a solid backup center this season and we will see what happens in 2021. If Jake Hanson shows he is the “Grinder” and “Beast” at center in the pros like he was at Oregon, then the Pack is set at center for the next 10+ years.

I love how Gute just keeps this roster loaded with talent. This is not the case with every team. Just look around the NFC North. No one comes close to the Packers roster. The depth on other rosters is embarrassing. Sucks to be them.🤣

Every football site you visit has the packers having the worse grade in the 2020 NFL draft. Walter football gives the packers a “F” grade. But you know more than the entire NFL community.
