Rob Gronkowski scores his first touchdown since 2018 as Buccaneers roll

For the first time in almost two years, Rob Gronkowski has found the end zone.

Tom Brady hit Gronkowski on a touchdown pass in the second quarter today, giving Gronk his first score since December of 2018.

The touchdown gave the Buccaneers a 28-10 lead over the Packers. After Green Bay jumped out to an early 10-0 lead and appeared to have control of the game, it’s been all Tampa Bay.

The Packers are far from out of it as long as they have Aaron Rodgers, but right now the Buccaneers are doing whatever they want.

  1. Wow, as a Vikings fan I’m used to seeing inferior QB play… this goes to show why Rodgers hasn’t won the NFC championship game in a decade

  2. Time to start the Love era. That was a Cousins like first half by Aaron, should have been 3 maybe even 4 picks. He is playing scared after being hit. At least sit him for the second half then revisit the situation next week.

  3. Wow! Rodgers is having one (1) bad first half and everyone already has him on the waiver wire.

We’ll see. He hasn’t been very good today though the 2nd int should have been a catch. Good for the Bucs player who caught the bounce off the receiver’s hands though. Right place, right time, good awareness

The 2nd INT was off Adams’ hands, but we all know the trolls will blame Rodgers for that.

The 2nd INT was partly Rodgers’ fault due to bad throw into coverage, but we all know the trolls will blame his receiver for that.

  6. It is a joy to see the Cheese Cheaters getting stuffed today. I so loathe the Golden Princess, Ewwin Wawgers. Seeing him hit the turf after being hit by Donkey Kong was worth watching him play. Ewwin had the look of indignation that only comes from a player who fancies himself to be below being hit and having defenses actually playing him.

I predict more Cheese Cheating as the offsides and free play offense is fired up.

  7. Bucs dominating the undefeated #1 power ranked team/offense. While the Pats got shut down by the sub-500 Broncos. Let’s see how biased PFT’s rankings are next week.

#24 Broncos shut down the #6 team. While the #15 ranked dominates the #1 team.

  8. “My QB knows what 4th down is”

Ok but does your QB know what the gameclock is? LOL that boneheaded delay of game was just comedy.

Rodgers has been mediocre for the past few years and enjoyed a cake schedule so far…. this game shows why they traded up for a QB instead of trading up for a WR or trading back and ending up with a weapon like Higgins or Claypool

Why would the rankings be biased? They’re meaningless

  12. Tampa’s offense is just going to keep getting better. They are a legit contender. As I said preseason.

  13. The old guy can still sling it. Perfect passes to Gronk! Love it! And that Defense is on fire! Go BRADY! And go BUCKS! Loving it this week!

    @@@@@@222

We know a lot about football and the packers are pretenders. Billy White Shoes Johnson is rolling his eyes over aarons pelvic thrust.

I know they are meaningless but they can still be biased. It doesn’t even matter but just wanted to point that out. Put some respect on the Bucs name, they look like the best team in the NFC today.

The GOAT vs, the DOPE! THE dope PLAYS FOR THE PACKERS!

When did the Packers trade for Brady?

  17. Brady is 70-40 against winning teams

Since 2012, Aaron Rodgers is 20-28-1 (.418) against teams that finished the season with a winning record.

  18. Just like last year against the 49ers twice, when Lafleur and Rodgers stink, the whole stadium needs disinfected.

  19. On to Houston.👍

  20. Brady to Gronk was a thing of beauty. If that connection keeps firing on top of all the other talent, the Buccaneers are going to be tough to beat. The Defense was great. NO PENALTIES was greatest.

What’s the record for unanswered points?

I remember one year when the Vikings allowed 41 unanswered points in the NFCCG

I remember Brady bringing the Pats back from 25 points down late in the 3rd quarter to win the SB. He has won 6. Meanwhile Rogers has the same # of SB wins as Trent Dilfer and Doug Williams
